If you have been experiencing issues with paying off or managing your Apple Card today, you are not alone, as Apple has confirmed ongoing issues.

"Some users may not be able to apply for Apple Card, pay their bill, lock/unlock their physical card, request a new or replacement physical card, or request a new card number," reads a notice posted on Apple's system status page.

The issues began within the past few hours and affect only some cardholders. We'll update this story when Apple indicates the issues have been resolved.

Update: The issues have been resolved, according to Apple's system status page.

I've had some great fun with my Apple Card today being used fraudulently for online Chipotle orders. Maybe this is why their fraud systems didn't auto detect this and stop it after the 7th!!!! charge? Fortunately, I was able to change my number in the app and then it stopped but card support is unable to do anything about the charges because of the outage.

I tried to pay my total this morning. Often I dont get a notification or email right away saying they received the payment. Checked later in the morning because a delay is normally no more than 15 minutes and my total changed reflecting charges that should have been on the card when I tried to pay and still dont think I have my first payment notification. I guess I too will wait a day or two and try again. I can manage.

WTF is happening to Apple? They are fast becoming no different than the other tech companies. If they start going down hill in the build quality and reliability of their products there will be no justification for their high price premium.

Not good. I haven’t tried any of these actions yet but I was planning on paying off my card later today. Hopefully it is resolved soon.
I had the issue today and wasn't able to pay my balance. However, after I updated to the 15.01 I was able to.

Try downloading 15.01. Worked for me and I was able to pay off my balance.

Submitted payment this morning (part Apple Cash and part deposit account withdrawl). Received the Apple Cash payment notification via email 18 minutes ago. Still nothing about the bank withdrawl.

You seem to really like Chipotle!

Hah! Same-o same-o claim going back 20 years. Yet Apple with its billion+ users manages to squeak by becoming one of the most successful companies in the world with many millions of customers, many repeat, paying premium prices for the roughly 600,000 iPhones manufactured every day (on the average) along with iPads, watches, computers, and services while breaking sales records every quarter.

I wonder if this explains why this morning Apple just canceled my iPhone order out of the blue. The email said it was the fault of "an issue with my wireless carrier" but Verizon said "WTH? Nothing to do with us". Apple support were not helpful and suggested I re-order it and maybe it would go though.

I had already suffered from the first-day pre-order issue when my Apple Card was rejected, and so missed an early iPhone delivery - and this canceled order was just about to be sent. Now if I try to re-order it'll be end of November (and that is assuming it's not canceled at the last minute again). This has really dampened my enthusiasm for the new phone.

The Apple Card experience has not been good these past months! Today it was impossible to make any payments towards my balance on the card, so it's definitely screwy.

Yup. I paid off my card this morning and then immediately after, my balance jumped up to more than what it was before I paid it off. Freaked me out and talked to Apple/Goldman and they said to wait some hours and see if it clears, and then chat back if not. It took most of the day to clear but seems fine now.

Payments seem to be resolving. My bank payment finally registered.
