My name is a variant of my sign-language name, and as such has no pronounciation, only a signing.

Red - a downward flick of the lower lip with the right forefinger (standard BSL as used in the UK, not ASL as used in america - don't get confused if you've taken a few sign classes)

Tomato - my sign name - an open handed backflick of the right hand (thumb tucked into palm) with the palm next to and facing the side of the head. (this is a namesign and not the standard sign for the vegetable tomato).

combine the two and you have RedTomato.

"Si-LEN-ci-oh!" Preferably shouted out like an exasperated headmistress trying to subdue a classroom full of unruly 9-year-olds in a 1950s Italian realist film.

It's (Deepdale) completely unpronounceable in Tierra del Fuego.

On the basis of no knowledge of Spanish except for an old ex-flame who was from Argentina, who I haven't seen for several years, let me guess it's something like "Thw-aoop-thel-ae" (say it quickly).

How's that Skunk?

Who care's how it's pronounced?

:p

I almost went for "Luxury-Yacht" as a username, but most people wouldn't know how to pronounce it. Throatwarbler-Mangrove

itcheroni, the San Francisco treat.

I really should think of a new SN. I just use itcheroni because I've used variants of it since 13 and am too lazy to think of anything else. At first, it was itchE, as in itchE and scratchE. Somehow, rice a roni got into it, possibly during the time I was planning a move to the bay area.

For those who might interpret the syllables as English instead of Spanish, you might explain it here as "see-LEN-see-oh".

KAI-zer SHOW-zay

best said with a strong Turkish or Hungarian accent.

Mine should be pronounced Vagi, as in Vaj-eeee.

When I originally signed up, the MR censor wouldn't allow it because it was only a few letters short of Vagina, so I cunningly reversed it to iGav, and have gotten away with it now for over 4 years.

THAT is awesome. :D

Log-e , hard g and pronounce the e. It is the German name for the god Loki in the operas Das Rheingold and Die Walküre by Wagner.

He said it's Italian, so the "c" followed by the "i" would make a "ch" sound, not a "s" sound.

Well, I merely broke it up into syllables instead of making it a proper pronunciation guide.

You mean it's nothing to do with the logarithm of the number e? :disappointed: :(
