He doesn't have a decent track record though. The only things he gets right are ultra-obvious things. Every year Apple brings out watches in October.
Apple has never released an Apple Watch in October.
Series zero: April 24, 2015
Series one and 2: September 16, 2016
Series 3: September 22, 2017

just a small note, all three of you clicked on the article and left a comment, and MacRumors made money.
This is exactly why they keep posting his rumors, because you keep clicking the articles and you keep leaving comments.
You are literally the reason why.
He could have a 15% accuracy, instead of a 70% or whatever he has, and they’re still going to post his rumors if you keep clicking and commenting.

I mean, this is a very obvious guess. I was expecting a mid-late October release from when they first said it was coming later in the year.

I am “literally the reason why.” Me and my two other friends. We control your internet. All your websites belongz to us. Now bow down to our supremacy!

And sometimes people put way too much wait in these unconfirmed rumors.
Apple leaks are just for fun, and people take them way too seriously.
Mark, Jon, quo, at the end of the day they’ve all gotten a lot wrong and a lot right. it’s just fun to speculate.
You should never make a purchasing decision based on what any of these guys say.
All of them, yes all of them, were in agreement that the new Apple Watch would have a 16% bigger screen and flat edges. It actually has a 20% bigger screen, and curved edges.
They all said that MacBook Pros could come “as early as Summer.”
It’s September 30 and there’s still no MacBook Pro.
Remember that rumor literally from the week before the iPhone 13 was announced that said the 13 and 13 mini would only come in 64 and 128 GB models? Boy was that person wrong.
Remember that rumor from the economic daily news that said the main feature of the Apple Watch series 7 would be an improved battery and a new CPU? The Apple Watch has neither an improved battery or a new CPU.
So… I think what everyone should take from this is, stop trusting leakers.

Hopefully this is true. I sold my S6 based off Jon’s bum news. Now no watch!

When I saw the announcement of "later this fall" and the dearth of new features (OK, some, but they weren't really important to me) I went ahead and ordered a Series 6. Have no regrets. See you all in 10 months.

Like most of the people here, I sometimes find Prosser’s character annoying. Most of the times 😂. But please, in these days and age, let’s just focus on facts.

If this website is to be believed, he’s as accurate as Kuo.

I just think because he’s louder, more annoying and more vocal, lots of people seem to hate him. But that’s a communication strategy. 🙂

annoying? Yes
wrong sometimes? Oh yeah
alll the time? No

I can already hear some say “a broken clock is right twice a day “ but lots of things he got right in the past were not simply educated guesses. Or were they? What do I know 😂
