imagined it being around 50% wider and having a second screen rising up from the back edge like the screen of a laptop.
Nobody should ever pay attention to what Prosser says.
Prosser? Really?
Shut the hell up, Prosser - and MR, stop reporting on things he says.
I don’t know whether to laugh at the fact that such a large portion of the MacRumor’s community still hates Jern for no apparent reason, or cry at the fact that he’s become completely absorbed in his Apple leaks to the point that he’s forgotten about Front Page Tech. It used to be a tech news show that covered everything in tech; now it’s just a bi-monthly conglomeration of his Apple leaks.Stopped reading after ‘Prosser’ in the headline.
This rumor has now been backed by hit-or-miss leaker Jon Prosser
Though I do wish there wasn't that FOMA feeling with not spending $999.Madness? Actually, the non-pro Apple products are really good, and the pro versions offer extra for those who want it. It’s a good system.
No, a Apple Watch b4.Apple Watch Series 4a.
Don’t they already do that by keeping around an older model to sell at a lower price point? Maybe this just means the cheaper model will now basically be a series 4. I hope they don’t create some ‘pro’ marketing term just to allow them to raise the price. No, the Series 5 is already a premium product, I expect them to keep the price for 6 and offer a cheaper version.
MR will continue to publish Prosser’s tweets because it gives them clicks. So, no point in asking MR to stop. It is a futile endeavor.Nobody should ever pay attention to what Prosser says.
...hit-or-miss leaker Jon Prosser...
I don’t think so. I think that the “SE” or whatever it’s called will keep that $199 Price point that Apple loves so much. Keep in mind that with watchOS 7, the series 2 lost support. So if they plan to discontinue support for the series 3 with watchOS 8, it would be completely stupid for them to still sell a series 3. However, they can’t just sell the series 5 at that $199 Price point, so it completely makes sense for them to introduce a compromised version.Don’t they already do that by keeping around an older model to sell at a lower price point? Maybe this just means the cheaper model will now basically be a series 4. I hope they don’t create some ‘pro’ marketing term just to allow them to raise the price.
He has already been wrong about the “press release.”It just occur to me the funnest and most exciting thing happening on 15th would be to see Prosser being wrong.
Prosser certainly publishes leaks, but “journalist” is doing some heavy lifting here. Does he even have any credentials in that regard?Prosser is not a leaker. Prosser is a journalist who reports on leaks. Don't conflate these two things.
