I mean, what significant changes are there, really, in watch OS 7? Most of the changes are incremental and small, as far as I remember, from the WWDC Keynote back in June...so, because the changes are so small, it would make sense that the betas are more stable than macOS or iOS/iPadOS...
This was in response to numerous people saying watch OS 7 was nowhere near ready.

People like to pretend that Prosser is frequently wrong, for some bizarre reason. Fact is he frequently right, and sometimes wrong.

Yet these same people champion Kuo is who is frequently wrong, and sometimes right.

I don't get it.
A website such as MacRumors could really provide a useful service by accurately handicapping these rumormongers.

One hour of credibility left. If not I'll curse this Prosser til the day I die!

I mean, let’s be honest, none of us need the latest Apple products to get any of our jobs done. Even if we rely on our Apple products to do our jobs, they don’t need to be the latest one.
Anyone who uses an iPhone, iPad, or Mac for their job or their livelihood, and they’re using the latest generation are doing it either because they like to be on the cutting edge, or the previous one that they had wasn’t meeting their needs.
But the latest generation of Apple products is not necessary for anyone. We could all survive still using an iPhone 7, and a 2015 MacBook Pro. Or any type of combination of Apple products from the last 3 to 5 years. But we buy the latest generation because were passionate about the company, and we enjoy their products.

Oh yeah, I totally agree.

If my MacBook Pro hadn't been stolen while I was away (long story that still pisses me off 3 years later) I would still be rocking a late 2013 15" MacBook Pro. When the new machine with the keyboard and touchbar came out I was caught up in how cool it was, but I still loved that 2013 machine and would have kept it for as long as I could.

I am the kind of person who does love to have the newest and greatest thing, but over the years I have slowed down and stopped that. Before the iPhone X came out I had the newest phone every year. Then the X came out, I kept that until the 11 series came out. I decided to get an 11 Pro Max, but really, over the last few months I have been saying to myself that I should have just kept my X because that was also a great phone. It also doesn't help that I was being silly at the time of buying my 11 Pro Max and was being a cheap person and bought the 64 GB (this decision has haunted me a bit), but at the time I did not want to spend the crazy amount to get the 256 GB. I didn't need the 11 Pro Max but I was caught up in my own thinking I needed a larger screen and somewhat better battery life. The reality was that none of those things really mattered to me in the end. So, this year, unless they do something super crazy radical with the iPhone (and I don't mean 5G) I am going to stick with my 11 Pro Max. I may even keep the 11 Pro Max for the next launch too, but I don't really know until that happens.

Basically, for now, I am happy with what I have outside of having 64 GB in my phone and now need to juggle some of the stuff on it. So, I may keep all of this stuff for a long time as I now don't need the latest and greatest and ave gotten over that stage of my life. Will I WANT it when introduced? Absolutely. Will I NEED or get it? Probably not.

Oh man, it's time for my annual second fav game of: "WHAT DOES THE INVITATION MEAN?!" (Only behind "shipped" threads)

"Look at the design...is that an infiniti sign?! Is the iPhone INFINITI near"!

"I see an "e"...for education. Is Apple making a sub-MacBook Air to take on Chromebooks in classrooms...because COVID?!"

I'm not kidding...I love the dumb speculation. lol

Jon has been playing the same game since the beginning. He is too excited to be the first to announce that he knows something . And he will be the one that finally changes his mind a day before the actual event once he realizes things don’t go his way. The only difference this time he is completely played and buried by his so called sources.
Actually L0vetodream has been hinting this for days but only few really understand his sarcasm towards Jon.

This is an ALL-OUT WAR between Jon Prosser and Mark Gurman. The stakes are extremely high and the loser MUST shoulder the full consequences. THIS MEANS WHOEVER IS WRONG TOMORROW MUST HAVE THEIR CREDIBILITY COMPLETELY WIPED TO ZERO, AND THAT PERSON MUST SHAMEFULLY EXIT THE RUMOR MILLS FOREVER - MACRUMORS SHOULD NEVER REPORT ON THAT PERSON EVER AGAIN AS HE WILL HAVE NO CREDIBILITY AT ALL. We cannot and should not allow whoever is wrong tomorrow to keep messing with unreliable rumors on MR in the future, and raising our false hopes. This is simply the stakes of what happens when two so-called leakers try to throw crap on the wall and see what sticks. This approach has no place in the world at all.

Why if someone is wrong would it completely wipe their credibility? After all its all about rumors and not facts. Each one who has sources with varying degree of access to the real details. Both have been wrong in the past as well both have been right in the past. The rumors are just good talking points to get us fans excited for what might be coming down the pipeline. If you want 100% facts 100% time then just wait for Apple's press releases.

BTW -- think you need to send in your butterfly keyboard for repairs as its stuck on uppercase.

Prosser is 77.8% accurate.
Gurman is 86.7% accurate
L0vetodream is 89.2% accurate.
Stats speak for themselves. We will see soon enough. 😊

To me though its percentage along with number of guesses. Someone who correctly predicted 80% of 300 rumors should get more weight that someone who correctly predicted 85% of 30 rumors.
