We have to normalize it based on the # of predictions they make, don’t we? Because, L0vetodream makes very few predictions and those that he/she makes, turns out to be true. Meanwhile, Prosser is on the other extreme, he makes a ton of predictions, and many are not true.

I noticed this morning that many models in the US went from unavailable to shipping at bit with delivery dates in the 9/21-9/23 range. Which is pretty far out. I am wondering if the series 5 will stick around as the lower cost option or if they will just swap those order for the series 6 since a delivery date in that range will follow normal pre-order to delivery timelines.

the store stock I have seen in the US, in my zip code, might be misleading. Our stores were closed until today - so it could just be residual stock.

To be honest the only stuff I’ve ever had sent from China has been cheap eBay tat that takes forever to clear customs.

In the US, shipping dates for iPads Pro and Air have been delayed roughly 2 weeks since early August because of back-to-school, remote learning, and the AirPods promo. We've been waiting to purchase a new iPad and have checked the shipping dates almost daily. For example, in late August, the iPad Air was showing shipping as far out as October 3.

I mean, let’s be honest, none of us need the latest Apple products to get any of our jobs done. Even if we rely on our Apple products to do our jobs, they don’t need to be the latest one.
Anyone who uses an iPhone, iPad, or Mac for their job or their livelihood, and they’re using the latest generation are doing it either because they like to be on the cutting edge, or the previous one that they had wasn’t meeting their needs.
But the latest generation of Apple products is not necessary for anyone. We could all survive still using an iPhone 7, and a 2015 MacBook Pro. Or any type of combination of Apple products from the last 3 to 5 years. But we buy the latest generation because were passionate about the company, and we enjoy their products.

That’s a very beautiful and honest reply and I am a testament of that. I have a 2015 13 inch MacBook Pro which I still use; I’m replying to you right now on my 2017 12.9 iPad Pro, my iPhone X is just as fast the day I bought it; Apple Watch 3 seems sufficient for what I use it for, notifications and walking goals and my 2015 iPhone 6s makes a great backup to my iPhone X when its battery is low.
