Apple IIGx to be announced in October 1986 with Apple ARM silicone and new Ensonq sound chip.

PR5

Someone in the iOS 14 beta thread posted a website saying he’s 84% accurate, which only accounts for tweets that stay up after the actual announcements.
inb4 someone posts it..
Yeah, some of the new leakers on twitter with handles like AppleLeaksPro and Apple Rumors (Leaks) and similar are getting a reputation for this clever charade.

Prosser doesn't delete tweets though.

It will be interesting to see who is correct as far as timing goes. The Watch and iPads (non-Pro models) are both things that could be released ahead of when the newest iPhone launch because neither would need to use updated A series chips.
Behind this year is going to end. All the leakers will be evaluated of their prediction performance.

they’re are not going to launch the new Apple Watch next week. We don’t even have a GM yet for watchOS 7.
GM is being released next week. New Apple Watch OS is released to public on a Friday or the following Friday. That's why an update was released maybe???

I like to speculate as much as anybody. Doesn’t make me a “leaker”. Some (I repeat, some) readers here pin their hopes on these ”leakers” and then get frustrated with Apple for not delivering on those leaks.

if its not the apple watch something might still get a web only release next week, who knows :)

I never really thought Apple would release Apple Watch 6 with a press release considering all the new features it is said to have (plus the new features coming via the new watchOS). Apple will want their Health division executives giving their pitches in person.

So I always presumed Apple Watch 6 would launch as part of the iPhone 12 event.

Waiting for Prosser's reaction to this. He's the most accurate when it comes to release dates.
That said, I've always been skeptical about the iPhone and Apple Watch being announced separately.

You and I obviously don’t see news from the same Prosser. He’s mostly wrong and when he’s “right” it’s obvious stuff like “Apple will release a new phone in the fall!”

Seems like we won’t have long to find out either way.

Maybe just the iPads will be released? no watch

Maybe, or it could be the AirPods Studio, iPad’s and other stuff they want to announce before the iPhone event. If they have a lot to announce (and it looks like they do) I’m guessing they will want to announce some of the stuff before the keynote so as not to crowd it.

The same leaker two tweets earlier this morning claimed that Apple was stopping iPhone 12 production and buying McDonalds instead.
They just hate Prosser. They’re acting like L0veToDream is correct & not Prosser, when they have no idea whom is correct, if either. Then they say even Prosser backs up what Love to Dream said after Prosser said it. They just jelly (jealous).

I guess iPhones / Apple Watch together in October. New iPad Air next week. Apple Silicon Macs + maybe something more in November.

I don't think we're seeing anything before October. Can't see such a big change to the iPad Air happening before the iPhone 12. I think October/November is the month we will see everything.

Will be a strange September if true.

I'm most interested in the apple wild cards: homepod, over ear headphones, air tags, apple TV. iphone and apple watch events are starting to feel the same to me: Better camera, faster processor, better screen....nothing new IMO.

This is not a surprise, everything with the pandemic definitely threw plans off. I’m fine with waiting a little more

Yeah, there's so many logistics to an announcement event: the product readiness itself, the presser vs. consumer availability date, and with everything that's going on, so many more complexities with the staff to produce the event content and materials (lead video folks could be unavailable, etc.). Probably easier to wrap everything up into a single event, shoot all the video, have roughly the same product release dates.
