How do you get that Watch Face that's shown in the article's headeline?

That watch face was made available to the Apple Watch 4 and above. Not available on prior models due to the number of complications on the watch face that was now possible thanks to a larger screen starting with Series 4.

Is anyone else reading this prediction as, "There will not be a shipping Watch in September"? Like, yeah, of course not. But there's no way Apple's not going to ANNOUNCE these. Just because they're not ready to be put in a box right away doesn't mean anything. They still announced phones a couple years ago even though some didn't ship until October.

I hope these leakers all wear their Maxipads. You know, ladies menstruation pads. Or at least a dry pair of underwear.

Things moves way too fast today - think of a leak in a 90's computer magazine.. just think about it. Wasn't that awesome?!

In the good old days when you would load up your iPod with songs and step outside and take a deep breath of mountain/ocean/prairie air Apple used to announce products that could be ordered after the event ended. We would all huddle about our PowerBooks excited to see the Apple Store webpage was down. Should we trust Nick dePlume? What colors would Apple discover next!?

I think the Series 6 will have enough health-tracking benefits to get me to upgrade from my Series 4 and if I do, I'm pretty positive I will stick with Space Black Stainless Steel because I love how it looks and feels and I have modified the lugs on my Classic Buckles to match.

The more I hear how much people like their stainles, titanium or ceramic Watches, the more I regret not getting one instead of the aluminum Nike model I ended up getting. Not that there is anything wrong with the aluminum and the glass has remained scratch-free (for now), but I had been wearing a thick and heavy Seiko automatic watch and I do miss the heft of it.

I kind of figured that if I liked the Watch enough, I could always upgrade, so we’ll see if the 6 pushes me to do so.

Thanks for sharing the Jon Prosser tweet with the release dates, saves us from trying to find it. And the info on the Apple Watch at the Apple Store too! Now I'm just hyped and excited! I don't know what to believe.
No problem. I'm losing my mind too. Tired of waiting. Looks like we're waiting till October this year which is fine at this point.

Apple Watch & iPhone announcements have largely coincided in the past, but that is not because they have to, that’s just the way Apple has chosen to do it in the past. And this year, lots of things are different. At this point, we can make guesses, but theres little in the way of reliable history to go on.

Always assumed it was the watch's dependency on the phone was their reasoning.

Apple must need until November for the phones to be ready.

For other products they have announced longer release dates, don't see why they can't do an iPhone announcement and drag it out a little to build up some hype.

Behind this year is going to end. All the leakers will be evaluated of their prediction performance.

GM is being released next week. New Apple Watch OS is released to public on a Friday or the following Friday. That's why an update was released maybe???
No GM next week. You are being overly eager.

Not sure about November, Cook did say supplies would be a few weeks late though.

Next Tuesday will be a big day for Prosser.
He's put his reputation on the watch and ipad release next week via press release, and the iphone event being October 13th.
Prosser just got his source at Apple netted... Timmy must have leaked some false info to catch out the internal leakers

And reading through this thread, many MR users as well.

Agree with that, too many ppl kvetching about the leakers.

Leaks are hit and miss, so let them do the rumor regardless some of them lack accountability. After all rumor sites like this are getting fed from them unless unknown tipster come in the way.

For skeptic people complaining without acting, should they digging whole information through Weibo or similar platform decoding thousands of 汉字 by themselves.

In the German Apple Store Series 3 is completely sold out, Series 5 with delivery date September 16th / 17th. I would expect Series 6 launch next week with delivery from September 18th. Series 5 could become the successor of Series 3 in the lower segment. It would make no sense to clear the stores now, if the successor is not released until the end of October.

Indeed.
But there a lot of people who don't like the guy, so dismiss his information also, ignoring his track record.
I was following the iMac release as getting a new one was imminent for me... he didn’t nail it, he said WWDC, in fact he said “very soon. Apple don’t hate me 😘” or some similar arrogant style comment long before WWDC. Well that didn’t happen before or during WWDC, it happened like two months after it.

I remember some of his comments trying to bury his miss-predictions with: “it has been a great WWDC full of surprises and great announcements!” positive vibes wide statements... if he had been accurate he would have been all over our faces with “TOLD YA!” ones probably.

I don’t know how is he so accurate for others and the same predictions are insanely inaccurate for me “next week” is next week, not next two months. But I digress, for me personally I give this dude a pass, compared to the likes of Kuo and others.

One month to rule them all? Strange but cool
4 iphones, ipads, new silicon macs, apple watch, maybe airtags..

Someone in the iOS 14 beta thread posted a website saying he’s 84% accurate, which only accounts for tweets that stay up after the actual announcements.
inb4 someone posts it..
He deletes his tweets? and even when keeping only the accurate ones it’s still a bit inaccurate?

I’m biased, I tried to follow before, during and after WWDC; between being all over the place and the arrogant attitude I immediately stopped.
