That would be impossible for any company to figure out who can or cannot speak the English language when they live in a completely remote country. There are hundreds of thousands of people in the U.S that can't speak English at all. What would be your solution for them?
At least they have the choice! Apple should just say there is a top tier that offers two services that are in English. Do you want it?

Me too but I’m confused. Will I be billed for the 2tb I was paying for plus Apple one? I thought they’d merge the services you already had?

They will accumulate! So you will get 4TB or you can cancel the old subscription.

Would you please post a link showing who else is doing exactly this? Amazon, Netflix, Microsoft? If you want choice subscribe to products from companies based in your own country. Simple as that.

Not a solution! Apple is a USA company but they sell worldwide! The same way they make apple music available worldwide and Apple TV+ I just want the *CHOICE* to buy a service even if it's English only!

I'll just give one example, masterclass sells to anyone who wants it. And they didn't have Portuguese subtitles.

Yet a lot of people here in Brazil subscribe to their classes.

And there is no need to be rude! hahahahah

What you are saying makes sense Cesar but also to offer it as you are asking would require work on apple side to inform those whom use a different language on their Apple Device that the product they are buying is only offered in English. Many may assume that because they bought it using their native tongue and paid for it using their country currency it would be offered to them using the language they spoke like most things. Others may consider it Elitist or demeaning to offer them a product that dismisses or belittles the language they spoke by only offering it in English knowing English is not the language of their country. Apple if nothing else is concerned about their image and would not do anything that would have the image they want others to have of them questioned.

not really worth it anyway, "just" buy a new Apple Device and you get TV+ one year for free and Arcade is another 3 months trial.

Not in the UK. The 1 yer Apple TV+ only applies to the first device you buy. Once you use that one year free, you won't get it again. I know, I bought an 11 Pro last year, used the year free and bought a 12 Pro this year and no more free year.

I'm sure they do this to avoid all the complaints about language support, but it still hurts ahahahahaha

Here in brasil the family tier is priced at 37,90 reais, that's less than 7 dollars.

And the fitness options available separately are much more them that! sad.

Apple One is a joke to me. What "family" would only need 200gb of icloud storage? They really need this to be more customizable. I personally only really would want Apple Music and iCloud storage. The rest would be fun or nice to have but not necessary. And for me, as an "individual" paying $15 per month (180 a year) sounds a little steep to me. The services are getting a bit out of control and Apple needs to figure out a better way. This is not cutting it IMO.

So I signed up to the premier but the Apple Music isn’t appearing on my girlfriend or sons account. News/Tv and arcade all are

Did the math and it doesn't make sense for me. Currently I have Apple Music on an annual subscription ($99/year renews in July 2021), Apple TV+ on a free trial ($5.99/month starting Feb. 2021, I'll probably pay for this a month at a time when there is a series that I like on and cancel when there isn't) and 50 GB iCloud storage at $1.29/month. Even if I do end up keeping Apple TV+ year round (and if it does come to the point that there's enough regular content to justify that I would switch to an annual subscription since you basically get 2 months free), I'm still only paying $15.53/month versus the $15.95 Apple is charging for the Individual bundle. Sure I get Arcade with that bundle, but I'll never use it so it's of no value to me.

That's the case everywhere. Some people seem to think the free year applies to every device they buy but they are going to be disappointed...

My "rudeness" is in your imagination. I'm upfront with people and I don't side with people who hate Apple here or feel entitled to everything in regards to Apple. There's a boat load of things that Samsung sells only to their home turf, yet Samsung also sells worldwide too. Just because you can speak English doesn't entitle you to the prices in the U.S. You live in Brazil. Why is it fair for you to get U.S. pricing and plan options when you don't live in the U.S.?

Erm this one 😂
We’ve only used 87GB in about 4 years, my 200GB sub expires tomorrow so if I ever need more I’ll just add another 200.

None of these needed and I am happy with my $1 PM iCloud 50 GB subscription. Not interested in other services since I get all these in addition to Apple Care like service, Music, Streaming TV through my network provider. Though none of these would come to my place, no one would pay anywhere closer to these prices. It's crazy...

In EU, *already* have 2 TB of storage, plus music, arcade and ATV+. All a la carte.

They’re selling the pieces of the bundle, but without the bundle advantages.

not having a particular service hasn’t stopped them from having multiple iterations of Apple TV over the years, without content, and without adjusting price for the lack of an actual service, or a lesser service such as maps, Siri, or... Latest updates for content items in the Stocks app is often 40+ weeks “ago”...

I hope they fix this. Am seriously in the Apple eco-system, Apple One is a nice way to reward the customers they already have.

This will be a huge success... just like the HomePod.
In our house we LOVE the Home Pod. Will be picking up at least 3 of the mini version.

We never planned this but in a house of 5, there are 2 macs, 5 iPhones, 6 iPad's, 5 Apple Watches, 4 sets of air pods, 1 set of Powerbeats (ear loops required), 3 Apple TV's, Apple Music Family and Apple TV + that is a year old now and just got extended until Feb. We will be upgrading to Apple One family plan when the Apple TV + sub runs out. Quite possibly Premier after checking out the fitness +.

Again none of that was planned, Apple stuff just works and the ecosystem just keeps getting better and better. We are NEVER going to use Android for trust reasons so anything Google or Amazon is dead to us. I love my Xbox for gaming and use Office 365 Home but the rest of Microsoft is a broken mess especially for consumers. We have Windows compters in the house that are used for school (school laptops) and work (work provided).

A lot have all these subscriptions... this is a lot cheaper so makes so much sense. Why the sarcy attitude? If you don’t like it then why get involved. This is great for so many people.
it works for you but it doesn't work for many of us.

More options are great.

We just don't see Apple tv+ as a replacement to Netflix

I'm looking forward to the day that Siri doesn't refer to google search when i ask it something lol

Does anyone know what happens to our current subscriptions once we sign up for this? Also more concerned about family members? For instance, if they are paying $.99 for iCloud and they are shared family members w/ me and I sign up for this does it auto cancel their iCloud sub?
From what I read and see on mine, it credits yearlies and rolls current monthlies into One after a month. It killed my 50GB when we got Premier, but I will have to see what happened with my wife's tonight. It had me send an invite to have her share the 2TB, so I don't know if it will kill her 50GB then too or not.

It's not. It will be included in the top tier when it is launched.
Curious on some things about this:

If Fitness+ isn't ready by the time the free trial expires, will then discount the Premier price until it is?
Since we didn't have Fitness+ during the trial, will they discount the Premier price for a month once Fitness+ is available?

My family only needs 100Gb iCloud.
