Based on some threads related to this kind of thing it seems like that functionality was there as of iOS 14.0.

Yes, I know, not only supports haptic touch but 3D touch as well. I was just expressing my joy for all the SE owners who deserved to have this feature, not for myself. My cousin, for instance, has an SE, so I’m glad this feature is coming back. I am happy too because, as I said, maybe I jump from my 8 to the SE and not having this Haptic Touch implementation on the notifications was a deal breaker. Not that there’s much difference between the 8 and the SE tho, but the SE is a great device, and cheap. The 12 is appealing but... I’m not sure what to do.

My wife confirms that it works again now That's great but common Apple - why do you take features away and then add them back later? That's just confusing and frustrating your customers!
