What are you attempting to do?
Public beta, too; I'm installing it on my new iPhone X, right now.wait, the beta 11.2 they just came out with. Is that just for developers, or public beta too ?
Which thought? If you meant don't install that beta, too late... but it seems to be working just fine.Hold that thought.
Ok you dont need to delete the profile or opt of of beta program. Neither of those will affect restoring your backup. Since you have not updated to 11.2 nd still have the 11.1 backup file you an restore it to any device with 11.1 or greater. Its when the backup is the newer version and you want to restore to an older version is where the problem lies. So you can restore an 11.1 backup to 11.2 iOS device but you cannot restore an 11.2 backup to an 11.1 iOS device.Restore from an iTunes backup.
Its for the iPhone X only. No other devices. And I believe it is public too but could be wrong there. Is the new Beta available for Public Beta testers, too? It's not available on my 7+. I just got my X delivered and I'm afraid to do anything. I have the 11.2 Beta 1 on my 7+.
Not for me. I’m a public beta user, and it still says 11.1 is the current version on my iPhone X with the beta profile installed. I cannot restore from my 7 Plus backup.Public beta, too; I'm installing it on my new iPhone X, right now.
Oh, how quickly these stories develop...
