I'm gonna be saving $13+ dollar downgrading from 7gb to 5gb. changed plan through the app also..
How are you changing it from the app? I wish someone would respond with a step-by-step because it is not showing for many of us.

UPDATE:
Nevermind. Verizon updated their My Verizon section of their website and now you can indeed select this new plan yourself, in case anyone is wondering. Not switching personally because I was under the impression that it was the same price as my current Small 2GB plan, but it is actually $5 more. Not necessary for me because I always have extra data at the end of the month, but for someone who doesn't this is a nice deal.

Isn't the 2GB plan $55 a month as well? The 5GB plan shows as $60 but there's the $5 discount for autopay.

Just figured out that it doesn't include that $5 discount on the screen that tells you your new monthly bill. Instead it just says the $5 credit will be applied to your new bill as a discount. Just switched to the new plan myself online, so hopefully this is true when I get my next bill.

It is if you factor in the $20 line access fee, base price is $35.
Line access fee is included in the $55 5 GB plan.
I just got my first bill for my new 5GB plan for $57.(no tax here) Rolled over 4.7 GB to get a total of 9.7 GB for this cycle. I didn't have rollover before and I think I'm going to like it. Using home wifi saves my data plan but when traveling I prefer not to use strange wifi so now I'll always have plenty of data, no worries.

Good glad it will work for you. Just don't forget that rollover is only month-to-month. It doesn't stack/accumulate.

Forgive me if I'm overlooking this because it's getting late, but did you receive your $5 off applied on your bill for having paperless billing and AutoPay?

Yes, I have rollover data on my current 2GB S plan as well (I opted for the new 5GB plan to take effect the next billing cycle, which is 2/27).

Yes, I set the 5 GB plan up over the phone the day it was first offered and I saw the $5 auto pay discount was included in the first bill. FWIW, I already had auto pay and paperless billing set up from previously for the past few years so nothing really needed to be changed in that regard.
