AT&T is not a compatible CDMA 2000 network. You won't see an MEID in the settings anywhere.
I see it on my 6 Plus.. Its right under the ICCID number.

You are correct. The iPhone 6 does have CDMA hardware. Really? Are you denying that AT&T does not operate a CDMA 2000 network? What kind of magic mushrooms are you taking?
You all are educating me on all of this stuff. I was just responding to someone that said the 6 series doesn't have a MEID number.
He's contradicting the comment that you won't find MEID in the settings of an AT&T iPhone - not the comment about AT&T not using CDMA.You are correct. The iPhone 6 does have CDMA hardware. Really? OT question, what app did you use to blur out stuff on the screenshot? Thanks!

So not an iPhone app then? I'm trying to find an app that would let me do that directly on the iPhone.I used the Gaussian blur filter in photoshop
Then, why did you quote ME??? Of course, you can understand why I would think you are in denial?
Because you said that the MEID wouldn't be found anywhere in the settings and I was just stating where I saw it. My phone is ATT and I still see a MEID number. Now anything in terms of workings and what is relevant and anything else, for that manner, isn't where I was going with it.

I have an AT&T 4S and 5S sitting in front of me as I type this. Neither report an MEID in the settings page. The only devices that bother reporting an MEID are the ones with the CDMA bands enabled. To date, that includes all Sprint and Verizon iPhones/iPads, all iPad airs/retina minis, and now the iPhone 6(+)
You will not be able to use a Verizon SIM on a non-Verizon iPhone 4S-5S. I've tried on the 4S and others have tried on the 5 and 5S
Then why quote terraphantm's post which specifically refers to the iPhone 6?We were discussing the iPhone 4s-5, not the iPhone 6.

From what I understand, it must be an already active Verizon SIM for it to work. Verizon still isn't allowing new non-Verizon purchased iPhone owners to walk into a Verizon store and get a SIM card and activate it with their non-Verizon purchased iPhone.

yes my very first post said that the verizon sim card had to be a live preactivated sim. i never claimed that you could walk into a verizon store and have that phone activated as a new customer. i went to my verizon . com and i tried to transfer service to that new MEID on the 19th, and they wouldn't go for it. i was ready to sell my 5 that day. but my iPhone 6+ still works on verizon, because my sim card already has service.
you know. i had my iPhone 5 replaced twice. last time it got wet, and before that the battery came back bad and i never had to call verizon and give them my current meid #. i didn't even know verizon had a web form you can fill out to transfer to a new meid until i was messing around with my iPhone 6+ on the 19th

Except Sprint and Sprint MVNO.I have an unlocked T-Mobile iphone 6 running on ATT. In the settings I DO
see the MEID number, so I assume this phone can be used on ALL carriers, correct?
