two watches shown here.... one square (smaller) watch, then a larger round watch (bcm pictures).

Larger Watch (Circular)

No, that is not a different circular watch. It's the round sensor plate on the back of the square watch.

I don't wear a watch. "Any watch" feels bulky on my wrist and I don't have thick wrists despite my height to be honest (6'2") I wonder how Apple will make me wear one. So far the only thing that got my interest was the fitness sensors. Especially a good, accurate sleep monitor could work miracles in my life. In order to wear one while sleeping and be comfy, it's gotta be light. And micro managing fitness activities has the potential to be amazing.

Sleep monitoring and wireless charging at the same time? Anybody feeling it?

Let's hope wireless charging is not putting it on some sort of dock. I want to be able to have the dock on my nightstand and wear the watch while sleeping to monitor the sleep and have the watch charging.

p.s. Also I don't wanna get cancer while doing that. lol. I guess you can't have everything huh?:)
From what I have seen wireless charging involves electromagnetic radiation... no evidence of cancer fro this type of energy... also from cellular despite what people say....

It's a watch, of course it'll be water resistant.

Well, it should be leakproof then! :p

Imagine the confusion:
Customer: "Hello, is that AppleCare. I have a light leak in my iWatch"
AppleCare Rep: "Okay sir, is that a liquid leak, or a light leak?"
Customer: "Uh? Um? Liquid? What, like liquid metal?"
AppleCare Rep: "Never mind sir. Lets start again, shall we?"

So the iWatch is gonna be a thick square block like every other smart watch on the market for the last 3 years...

...exept the Moto 360, that one actually looks really nice.

That is a watch that I'd wear!

sapphire glass has been reported for the iwatch only this is apples way of testing it for future devices.

Waterproof to 20 metres is excellent, the housing looks pretty thick though I was hoping for something thin for my tiny wrists but hey ho.

NFC payment on it would be nice but I can’t see it happening unless they get a fingerprint sensor on it, which I doubt.

Does anyone know what this means: “flexible, multi-touch screen will add a new dimension to the UI.” ?
Does flexible mean ‘curved’ or that you can actually bend it in use, and how does that add to the UI?

Where is Tuesday?! I need some high-quality photos! All these terrible ones are just about enough to make a grown man cry... Okay, maybe we're not quite there yet, but you know...

Yeah because a flat tire display and text being cut off looks really nice. I'm hoping Apple designed around function first and foremost. If I'm going to spend hundreds of dollars on something I want it to be useful not just look pretty with crappy battery life.

Have you not got used to :apple: yet? They love form over function. :p

If its a square/rectangle I honestly will be disappointed. I will definitely grab the iPhone6, the large one but this vs the Moto360 with the steel band, no brainer to me - it is suppose to be a "fashion" accessory after all.

Hmmm.. good luck with getting your "No Brainer" round Moto360 watch to work with your massive iPhone buddy. :)

BCM as in...

"Broadcom's high performance BCM59350 wireless charging PMU enables automatic selection between specifications from all three leading standards organizations including the Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP), Power Matters Alliance (PMA) and Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) for OEM flexibility. A4WP uses resonant technology, called Rezence, that allows consumers to "drop and go," placing multiple devices on a single charging surface without the trouble of accurate positioning or alignment."

:D

My thoughts exactly. However, for me, function goes hand in hand with weight and bulkiness. I won't wear a bulky heavy watch, which implies that it will not function very well for me. ;)

As far as what it looks like, I don't care so much. But I want to be able to pull my shirt sleeve over it without any problems. I used to wear one of those huge bulky Fossil watches, and after a while, I had to go for something thinner, which is why I ended up with this (before I gave up on wearing watches completely):

How about that as an iWatch mockup? :D

And please with at least two days of battery time.

hmmm. I'm gunna go ahead and say no. Apple will show a prototype tomorrow and production wouldn't start until after that.

iWatch Air - but we won't see that for another 5 years.
