I think Qualcomm is definitely heading in the wrong direction with actions that seem to be attempted gouging of Apple. I sold all my long-held stock holdings in them about a year ago when their squabbles with Apple started getting out of control.

I think I see how this works, regardless of the facts, a bunch of folk are gonna get their panties in a twist and accuse the nasty people of trying to rob their precious Apple.. even if Apple were in fact to blame. That's irrelevant , they will defend them as if it were their own child... I'll just have a quick look at the comments to see how my theory pans out... :)
If trade secrets were actually stolen and handed off to Intel, then there would be evidence of new Intel Modems performing better by a long shot than normal.

Having seen how large companies and government demand special access, then steal it, share it from our business I don't doubt Qualcomm's statements. Government and large corporations just dare you to take legal action.
Do I know - of course not. I just have seen it first hand in many business sectors, and in government. So it is likely true.

This would be hilarious if proven with the lastest spate of iPhone issues being reported. #insidejob

With AT&T on a Xs. Getting same to a bit better than my X of past year

UPDATE: I am starting to have problems with my
WIFI failing both 2.4 and 5 ghz when i am out side still works in house and bars look same but fluctuate a lot so outside WIFI is worse.
Since I also have only 1 sometimes two cell bars those seem to be worse today but not earlier this weekend so I guess I am joining the 40% with issues interesting changes hmm. In strong cell areas 3-4 i am still getting better results

Some people are really stupid for lack of better explanation. Companies share some secrets regarding their designs to help each other with various software/hardware implementations. It's all good as long as they work together.

I think it's probable that Apple shared such information with Intel. Why don't you see immediate increase in performance? Perhaps this information wasn't utilized yet. Perhaps it wasn't sufficient. Perhaps Intel failed at implementation. It's like asking why did you get poor grade if you kept looking at somebody else's test over shoulder.

For example, chief GPU engineer left AMD and now he leads GPU efforts at Intel. This is the guy that probably knows a lot of secrets if not all of them. Does it mean Intel will match or outperform AMD? Probably not, we'll know when their GPUs realease in a few years (early 20s).

Well, I don't think they have a case: it doesn't look like Intel has been able to decipher and implement those "secrets". Their modems are still garbage and the new XS is a downgrade in this department LOL

Qualcomm seems like such a petty, vengeful company. "Oh, you're not going to use our products anymore? We'll bury you in nuisance lawsuits!!!"

I'm glad Apple dropped them; hopefully others see how toxic they are and drop them too, though most companies don't have the resources to fight these lawsuits like Apple does.
Or it could be Qualcomm is correct and accurate in its suits. Apple is not holy you know.

I read that Apple says Qualcomm hasn’t told them what IP they’re alleging Apple stole and gave to Intel.

Now, now... we have to let victims speak. We need to hear any and all accusations. Whether it’s recently or 35 years ago. So many people simply shaming Qualcomm and dismissing their claim.

If it is true how is it vengeful?
Companies must vigorously defend their patents or lose them.
If you believe another company has stolen your IP you must sue or lose exclusivity of the patents.

It seems to me that you are one of those folks who twist and accuse without facts.
