HA HA.

Useless.

Ha ha..

NO!
Bad poster.

Because nobody with Android devices has $500 in APPLICATIONS loaded up... Which is what it takes to justify a really expensive tablet purchase. I can count that if Apple released this many (most) apps would be updated in 30-90 days for the new resolution and capabilities.

This is about the size of PAPER.. So put this on an executive desk, or on a music stand, or out with a contractor to review PAPER documents. Bit it would ALSO have to be Retnia at 1.5x the current resolution.

Nah, doubt it. I saw a girl in an Apple store a few days ago trying to explain the difference between the iPad Air, the iPad 2, the iPad mini and the iPad mini with retina display to an older person.

No chance.

If you make people have to think that hard about which product is right for them, it's much less easy to make a decision, and in my view, I'd be much less likely to make an impulse buy without feeling the need to research first. That's where Steve got it right, and they're undoing all that, just as they did in the mid-90s.

I was going to say the same thing. I told a few people this the other day. This is what Apple was doing and losing a lot of money. Then Steve came back and simplified everything even though that meant firing a bunch of people. There were too many different versions of the same product.

I miss Steve Jobs' era, one iPhone and one iPad, simple and clean offer for customers.

Two iPads at two different sizes isn't that complicated...three won't be either...it's almost like Apple's makes their users limit their minds or something.

Why it is important is that people keep saying "I wish they would make OS X touch aware." To which I say "They already did and called it iOS."

To which I say "Are you kidding me?" although it may be heading towards that visually.

I took a little time to read through your posts and it's amazing the amount of words you write only about extremely obvious ****. The best parts are when nobody and I mean nobody really replies to you. The sad part is that it makes you think you're smart, because of course you're.

No, the correct possessive is Jobs'. The fact that it's a possessive proper noun doesn't matter.

Well...Many people struggle with the possessive case of singular nouns when the words already end with s. The general rule is this:
Form the possessive singular of nouns with ‘s.

HOWEVER..."If pronunciation would be awkward with the added -’s, some writers use only the apostrophe. Either use is acceptable. (Diana Hacker, A Writer’s Reference)":D

Many people (if not most) are completely unaware of grammatical rules, and the apostrophe is possibly the most misunderstood and abused grammatical device of all. The common application these days is to place an apostrophe in front of every terminal s, plural or otherwise (just in case?). So you get abominations such as TV's, CD's and DVD's, when the usage is strictly plural.

Granted, the case of possessive nouns ending in s is complicated (and even controversial), and not as strict as other grammatical rules. I try to stick with the Chicago Manual, which leans towards the rule that these cases should mostly be s' unless the result is awkward (or a compound possessive).

Anyway, only word geeks care about this stuff anymore.
