I was just going to post that about the screen. I took the image and blew it up so it was very large and measured the point from bottom of the touchscreen to where the bezel starts...and if my measurements are correct it is definitely crooked.
 
whoever made this is basically saying that the tablet will run leopard. the whole welcome thing is for 10.5 and people are saying that in 10.6 Apple is getting rid of the whole futuristic theme. so why would they have this run leopard when snow leopard will most likely be out before the tablet? it makes no sense. so 1, the idiot who photoshopped this knows nothing, 2 why would Apple ever go back to the first gen iPod touch design, and 3... ya i cant think of anything else besides whoever made this is a complete idiot.

This is what I love about MacRumors the most. I can't think of any other site that so thoroughly and definitively debunks the fakes.

This of course fake, but hello that black glass bezel that originally on the iMac and now all of its new brand new designs? Even the 24" LED display has it.
Apple likes to make the line up look uniform:rolleyes:
 
Sooooo fake, it is a photochop of the first gen iPod Touch... and that "welcome" image can be easily found on google image search. (Yes, THAT image)

And not to mention that the home button is not in the correct place :p

obviously its fake, but with a device that large, why would you want it to be portrait?

it makes more sense to have it be landscape. its widescreen, not tall screen.
 
I'm still wondering how a tablet device of this size will be held. When jobs walks on to the stage (at some event in the future) with the tablet, the real news will be how he handles and interacts with it.
 
this is clearly fake.

if you see the actual website and article it shows two photos of the fake tablet and on the screen it shows the Leopard Welcome screen at the exact same position in both photos

Edit: scratch that.. the second photo is just cropped from the first and blown up.
 
really really bad :D

and one more thing...the mac tablet isn't going to need an iphone center button...why would you need it??
