if there is a tablet and it ends up being that shape, and there is a home button, it will not be placed in the middle like that. Not only does it look dumb, but your thumb will not be there when using the tablet, it would be in the bottom right corner most likely.

I don't understand why people think apple will make a tablet, it makes no sense. They are horrible in terms of usability. The phone size form factor is great because you can comfortably hold it in one hand. Tablets, however, require your whole arm basically.
And besides, you'd think that after literally years of these exact quality level of rumors we're getting *AGAIN* you'd all realize, apple thinks tablet computing is stupid and is never going to make a tablet.

That would be the Front Row button. Front Row controls with multi-touch is how users navigate content but normal OS X would be a button away, to be used with an on-screen keyboard. Who knows, even real keyboard support?
Is it possible to simplify Finder any more? Its frustratingly simple on most occasions.

That's the best thing about MR, they don't have to serious all the time. They know when things are most likely fake. I like how they keep track of peoples rumor "track record" and aren't afraid to publicly say it.
The button looks slightly off center
Thats what I'm thinking, and for some reason, it looks slightly rubbery, not shiny.
If you look along the left side of the screen, you can see it change reflectivity at a margin roughly the size of an iPhone. Plus you can see notches along the bezel.

I find the Finder hard to use because of its simplicity. It misses several key features that other file managers have and it feels like im using a Fisher Price file manager when i jump into OSX.

The only real ways it would be real was if it was a early prototype or if the 1st gen. ipod touches are coming back. My reasoning is, well why would apple a new product, be like an old product?

You may be right about the placement of the button, although it would be the most comfortable place to put it when holding the device in portrait mode.
As for landscape, it would work better with OS X but vertical would work best with the iPhone/iPod OS. I think it will be a variation of the later because a tablet should function well in both vertical and horizontal orientations; the iPod/iPhone OS does that better than OS X as we know it.

The borders are not flush and elegant, this is not like the apple design we are used to seeing.
At best this could be a prototype, but I'm not convinced. Saying that this thing has been rumoured for years, there must be loads of experimental prototypes out there?

You've got to be retarded to believe it's genuine. Two reasons. First of all, it looks like the retarded imagination of someone's.
Second and most important, look at the screen. It looks like the distance between the screen's border and the device's border is not equal on its axis. Look carefully at the bottom and the left side. That's where I looked. And please, just ONE photo? I'd take a f*ing lot if I had it...
