I got mine yesterday... 16GB..
Well, I'll give it a 9.5... why?
I think this is the greatest phone that I ever had. I'm still playing with it and getting along with all it's features. I think the web browser is the best one from all the other phones out there. Maps works great... I work as a photographer and this phone is perfect to show my portfolio to my clients. Emails work super nice... no complains there. The only thing I don't like is the back cover... is plastic, not like the first iphone with the aluminum cover... overall I say 9.5
Service:
8: Not sure what you mean by this one, but if you mean AT&T Customer Service, I have never really had many issues with them. A few billing issues but other than that, solid I guess.

etc.

If Emails are priority #1, then I would not get an iPhone under any circumstances. I am sure some Apple Fan Boys will boo me, and that is fine, but for Emails, iPhone still does not touch a Blackberry.
However, if basically everything else is more important to you, then the iPhone is for you for sure. Better Music, better Web Surfing, better Apps available and better overall Entertainment value.
Thanks! What this person said! Best overall review I've ever seen, maybe because it says everything I would.![]()
I would give the iPhone a 7 out of 10.
I would give every other smart-phone I've ever used a 4 or 5 out of 10.
A 9 for email?
Really?
Have you ever owned a Blackberry?
I am surprised anyone would give the email a 9 unless they are just Apple Fans trying to be generous.
Lack of true Push email for personal users without having to pay for a substandard Email experience (Especially on the Web.)No I have never owned a Blackberry. I am an Apple "fan" but that's also my honest opinion. Email works flawlessly on my iPhone and I can do everything I need to with it (short of copy/paste). What exactly is the problem?

So, yes, I would say the email "works."
It could just be so much better.
But I understand Apple had to make a dime, hence, the birth of MobileMe.
That being said, Apple never advertised push email as a feature of the iPhone, only as a feature of MobileMe. To give the iPhone's email program a lower grade because it doesn't magically force Gmail to push or make MobileMe free is a little silly, don't you think?
