Razer Core Compatibility

This is going to be super funny actually, so on my new Mac I was having issues deleting files so I scheduled an appointment with the Apple Store in my local town to see if I can resolve it. Right now I suspect it's my Paragon NTFS application that I installed but I can't be sure. It sucks not being able to clear your Trash Can. Anyways next door to my apply store is the Microsoft Store so I just thought what the hell I'll be in the area again tomorrow when I pickup the Razer Core so why not take my Macbook into the Windows Store and have them help me hook up my Razer Core to Bootcamp.

They don't have a problem with it, so I think this is both going to be kinda fun and interesting. I should have a solid answer for you guys by tomorrow evening. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat excited.

The DSDT override version should work on 15" (under windows, not needed on OS X): https://www.techinferno.com/index.p...-dsdt-override-to-fix-error-12/#comment-91134

It needs some tweaking but should work with internal display on windows.

We do need to know though if it works with internal in OSX!!

Ok update I have all of the parts I'm going to try to do this now and see what happens. Hopefully it works out. I'm going go through those guides now. I hope they're intuitive

I got it to detect but when I went to the Nvidia control Panel it says that it doesn't detect GPU yet it shows up on Control Panel. I'm thinking that another situation could be is that everyone posting is using an External Monitor while I'm not and don't plan to. I love the Mac screen and keyboard and wouldn't want to use another. It's okay though if this doesn't work out for me I'll sell the core and move on.

There appears to be no restriction. It is working under bootcamp Win10.

I have no experience myself, but have only heard BAD things.
Apparently, they sell rebadged akitio @ over double the price.
In this case $649 vs $299 for the same product.

Is the external monitor necessary? I've read that for macOS it will run after some hacks but if you have an external monitor. On Window 10 I'm curious if I could use the macbook pro screen and have hardware acceleration

Huh, I thought that I'd read some comments about how it could work as you describe, but am finding nothing now...
However, I think for most- the external monitor is a better solution because the built in is pushing SO many pixels! There is a huge performance hit in games between 1080p & 1440p; I think you're just going to have everything run smoother on an external, tbh.
