I used Android for 2.5 years. I still have an Android tablet. I use to have a GSM Galaxy Nexus (GSM is only one that gets timely updates). Android performance is not good. Buggy, laggy and choppy compared to iOS on my 4s. Android uses old non touch legacy code and uses code that interferes with the users processes. It will always be laggy and or choppy unless Android rewrites everything entirely. So you will get a huge amount of features and options with Android but you will also get bugs, lag, etc and will need to root to fix them, but still then you will have issues.

i was so anti android but i played around with my friends nexus s recently and fell in love with Google Now that i'm on the verge of ordering the nexus 4. their new photo sphere thing looks pretty awesome and jelly bean looks finally polished and clean

still hate the custom android versions so either nexus or get outta here

apple got kinda stale with iOS bc they know it'll sell either way so why bother to innovate anything while google still tries to push

Gotta say I'm really impressed with the lack of flaming going on in this thread.

Im glad we can all agree on the fact that we love our Apple devices while remaining objective about how stale its becoming in comparison to the efforts other companies are pushing. Some of these functions might not be useful to you, but thats not the point. Point is, they're still TRYING to push the envelope.

Corollary: Anyone thinking of getting the Nexus 7 should do so. Its an awesome little tablet for the price.
