Plastic top for better wifi reception (ala the plastic back of the current-gen iMacs)??
Not a deal breaker...but that does seem kinda odd to me.
The inside looks amazing. I don't see why they would go with a white top though. That makes me think it is the light.

Amen on the glossy screen (if that's real). If it's just an option, OK. But if it's like the retarded iMac and it's glossy or bust, epic fail.
Why people have the need to see rumored photos about 12 hours before we know we'll see the thing, well, I never understand some things.
Tap-lock and drag of the file or selection. Pain in the ass to learn and figure out.
This is all very interesting. I would be ecstatic about the MBP look, but I cannot deal with the glossy screen. And I dont think they will have the matte option because that means that black bezel we are looking at will have to be matte also, right? I dont think Apple would do that. They are making this like the iMac...

Thats just lame. You NEED to have a button. Looks like most of my family will have a hard time using this. I dont want to buy a $ 2k laptop and then lug around a mouse all the time. I *might* get used to it, but why wouldnt they include a button! I hope they have ones with a button for BTO macbooks, or maybe there is a button, but its just so sleek, we cant make out its there.

I can't imagine that they'll get rid of the matte option for the MBP. Too many people still want the matte screen for the true colors.

Fake. Note the overbite of the lid, and the covered up ExpressCard hole and mystery taped slot. Also, I'd like to draw your attention to the strange MagSafe and near-inexplicable lighting. (Or mysterious two-toned aluminum)
I'm not calling it fake but do consider that depending on the angle and proper lighting you can get an overbite affect with the lid on the bottom.
I don't like the bezel, it looks something HP could do any day...
To me is the first backwards step in terms of design that Apple has made with their laptops. Not to mention that I think the Macbook Pro is absolutely overpriced for today's standards.
I'm looking forward to those dual gpu cores (if they really exist) and to that new 899$ product, which doesn't seem a Macbook to me, I think it could be a new device/tablet/UMMAC, maybe?

Two GPUs? Why? There's no way it can ever run cool enough then. And if they don't update the 17-inch MBP and the MB...insane. Waste of an event.

I sure hope that the 17" is updated tomorrow. It might make my decision harder between buying and waiting if the 17" isn't updated.
Yea that "not updating MB and 17inch MBP" line really got me. There is no company out there that only updates once product when its part of a line that is supposed to be incremental.
There's no way they would completely forget about it. They need to refresh the entire line, not just one model.

Exactly. There's more to this than just updating one model. This very may well be the new MBP but it's not the ONLY update of the day.
