Keep both. Sell one of them on craigslist. Donate the profits to charity.

No, you'll be doing good if you donate to charity. Apple doesn't do that. :p

Yep. The iPhones are all serialized and linked to your account. They have everything they need to track it down and prove you have it.

    This.

Happened to me with the first Verizon iPhone. Apple called me. Return it and save yourself the headache. As someone mentioned they have a paper trail a mile long proving you had it.

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

They will charge you whatever you paid to get one of them. This happened to me with the iPhone 4, with an online order. I paid the $200 for the upgrade and they sent me 2 iPhones. I thought it was gonna be free also but I was charged another $200. Somehow I was still off contract, and could have bought another for the upgrade price. I just ended up selling the extra to my brother for $200.

keep it factory sealed for a couple of months

nothing happens after that, just sell it for quick cash or you can brag to others that you have 2 iPhones.

Can't blame a company for outsourcing, when it's cheaper than having the greedy government rape ant chance of a profit.

i wonder, is this human or computer/machine error on packaging? i've seen a few post of people NOT getting any iPhone in their FedEx box, then some getting 2? is someone just trying to give apple a little headache?

Some teenage girl in china will receive many lashings for her mistake of sending you two phones. I hope they don't take her pension.

It's not your phone. It's an error. Why not contact them to return it and not worry about *if* they catch on? You'd contact them if they billed you for 2 and you only got one. Just sayin'
