Seems like it's all been taken care of already. Nothing to really keep on questioning or discussing at this point.

I would return it with no question, send that thing back and let them know by sending them picture like this one... This is unacceptable!!!

Sure it is. I have an iPhone 6 where the wording on the back is not straight across. It's crooked. So yeah, QC misses things. So much for that robotic eye huh? :)

If you want a pic, ask.
I totally believe you, as I do the OP, but I'd like to see what that looks like out of curiosity. Hopefully it isnt too crooked lol.

You can probably do a search for it as there have been a few threads about it here and some other sites.

Fake. A laser etched object cannot smudge (the bin logo) and even if Apple had no QC whatsoever, which they do, that still wouldn't make it out of the factory.

They are not laser etched. Contrary to your belief, QC is not 100%. Otherwise half the phones on this board wouldn't make it out. Lol

Don't believe me, I don't really care. I know I'm telling the truth and that's all that matters to me. Anyway issue solved! Mods please close thread as I just see more comments like this to come!

i actually do kinda wanna see that.

As for defects, Apple isnt perfect. Last year my ex got an iPhone 4S (new) and the home button was slightly crooked. Bugged the hell out of me whenever i used it. And recently i ordered a screen replacement for my 3GS off iFixit and even though i know they arent original apple parts, the fact that the home button is crooked and the seal around the top is messed up irritates me. Youd expect something decent from iFixit, right?

I tend to believe the OP. However unlikely it is, it can happen. I've seen an iPhone 6 with crooked text (about 3 degrees off). Don't even get me started on the iPhone 5 - I went through a total of 12 replacements until I got one that was not nicked or scratched out of the box. There are occasionally things that slip through somehow.
