Now it is impossible (at least tough to find) to see if anyone is moving from the Not Yet Shipped status for all of the FedEx plane tracking info and arguments on who knows more about how shipping works and how pilots think (as if that has the least bit of use to us).

Last night before I went to bed it seemed that a few of my models were shipping that were ordered within a minute of me but who can tell now?

A Few Ipads in Stock at jr.com

I just ordered a 64GB Black Verizon 3G which will be shipped tomorrow. My days of running to the Apple Store and checking online to see if my order shipped are over! They have a few different configurations left.

Not shipped yet!

What good did it do me to stay up and order my 64 GB 3G and WiFi AT&T Black Ipad at 1:07 am PST March 11 if it is still showing Not Shipped while other people who ordered much later are taking delivery?

Since it is currently 12:46 am in Shenzhen, it will be another day before it is even prepared for shipment much less ship. It appears the 3-5 business days to ship will be 5 days if then. It appears the ones not shipping are the 64 GB. Any one know why?

no 32gb att black have shipped as far as i am aware
 
Based on my own research, I think we can only assume that the planes from Anchorage to Memphis leave around 3PM Anchorage time, or 7 PM EDT. I don't expect those of us with iPads currently in Alaska to see any movement until then.
 
2 ordered, 1 shipped.

I ordered 2 Ipads in the same order, immediately when the store opened on the 11th. 1 64GB wifi black, and 1 64GB wifi white. I just received a shipping confirmation for the white, but the black one still says "not shipped".
 
Order at 1:01am PST on March 11, and finally, finally got a status change to "shipped" -- apparently there was a lag in updating the status.

On Mar 15 @ 9:00am PST it was "Prepared for Shipment", but at 9:45am it shows that some activity had taken place:


March 15 - 5:14am (China) -- Shipment Information Sent to FedEx
March 15 - 11:12pm (China) -- Picked up -- Shenzen, CN -- Package received after FedEX cutoff :(

They are now estimating delivery on March 22nd by 4:30pm, the same as my Smart Cover which has left Hong Kong and is currently in transit -- I sure hope that is conservative and they get here quicker. I was really hoping to have it by Friday March 18th, but I think that would be overly optimistic.

Just signed the FEDEX receipt - woo hoo

still waiting for the 32gb white 3G- ATT to ship

edit: got the same bleeding light problem. but not gonna drive myself crazy over it. this thing is fast, faster than my friend's old/fat ipad 1 xD

I have the same problem in reverse. My lovely fiancée, who is the one that paid for both of these, is the one that wanted the white one and is left waiting. She's going to call Apple later to find out why it isn't processing.

Mine was released from customs in Memphis late last night, but doesn't appear to have moved other than that. Still seems like it's on track to deliver Thursday, though I'm certainly hoping for Wednesday.

Smart Covers are on the truck for delivery. :D
 
Ordered Friday morning about an hour or so after order taking begun on. I got my smart cover today (Fedex home/ground), with Fedex still quoting 3/17 for delivery of my 16GB white verizon ipad, along with the hdmi adapter. The hdmi adapter says it's in Memphis and the iPad says Anchorage, even though the ipad appears to have left China first. I'm sure the tracking is only semi-updating.

The smart cover seems less "smart" when it's not covering anything :p

Same here! You set for the 22nd? Think we'll see them any earlier? I am actually excited now, no more BS hopefully.

Looks like mine missed the flight out though - DELIVERY EXCEPTION; missed cutoff time. Sweet...

ordered my iPad 16gb white at 3:51 am EST along with my AV adaptor and Smart Cover. Both the adaptor and cover shipped and expected wednesday and thursday. But the iPad still says "Not Shipped Yet". does anyone know why the white iPad2's are taking longer??:apple:??
