How much longer?

When you order Domino's Pizza online they have a little bar that comes up and tells you exactly what is happening to your pizza. Is it being cooked? Is it Out for delivery.

WHY CAN'T APPLE DO THIS FOR US!!!!

This is simply the most frustrating thing I have ever been involved with!!

I was thinking Jimmy as in Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Or maybe Alfred after Batman's (and Bruce Wayne's) tireless butler, assistant, and confidant. Yeah, Alfred is good. When he gets here I can introduce him to Rosie the Robot, iRobot that is. I wonder what the children of a Roomba and an iPad would look like. We'll have to wait until iPad 16 to see.

I hope my iPhone doesn't feel neglected when Alfred arrives. It's tough being the oldest kid in a house with a new baby.

This is fun. I'm loving the anticipation. What's everybody going to do when it finally arives? Oh yeah, play with the new toy of course!

or just start them on with our accounts as it leaves the factory... so we can use the 'track my ipad' app..
 
I just got my iPad 2 from the Apple store on Michigan Ave(Chicago) woot!😀:apple::apple: I waited in line and I think one of the employees said there was about 200 people lined up.

So, FedEx tracking says left ramp at 8:57pm (this is 8:57am EST, btw).
Flight tracking says plane took off at 8:53pm, and will be in Anchorage approximately 8 hours later.
I'm pretty sure that if the package is in Alaska today, it can be here in Brooklyn on Thursday, as scheduled

(I am aware how silly this is, but it's pretty fascinating to be able to get such a detail of the shipping works on your fingertips like this)

Mine took the exact same routing. It left the Shanghai ramp at 20:57. FedEx Intl says it's enroute to Anchorage now. I can't find the flight number.

Looks like this thread has completely derailed.

If anyone still cares, my iPad 2 and HDMI adapter arrived in Alaska at the same time on Mar. 14. The HDMI adapter arrived today, but the iPad still says it's in Alaska. Bummer. Should still be here by Thursday as originally planned.

I'm on the east coast. Mine is in Memphis TN, with a Thursday 3/17 delivery.

Hey, is that really your iPad2 or are you just spoofing?
 
I wish this thread could be split into two different ones. I ordered a black 64gb wifi only 2 minutes after the orders were supposed to open and ONE minute after the iPhone Apple Store app let me do it (I was not at home).

Now it is impossible (at least tough to find) to see if anyone is moving from the Not Yet Shipped status for all of the FedEx plane tracking info and arguments on who knows more about how shipping works and how pilots think (as if that has the least bit of use to us).

Last night before I went to bed it seemed that a few of my models were shipping that were ordered within a minute of me but who can tell now?

PLEASE, make a shipping thread AND a separate Tracking thread.

I'm a little confused. My status says out for delivery, but the estimated date still says the 17th. For those whose are out for delivery today, does it have todays date as the delivery date?
 
mine just arrived here in MN, and my smart cover just came at almost the exact same time. it was weird seeing the fedex truck and ups truck right next to each other delivering at the same time.

No. Mine still shows March 17 as the delivery date but it also shows "on fedex vehicle for delivery".

Delivers by March 22... eww. Apple, I wish I could quit you...

I leave for vacation the 18th... without my iPad apparently.
