No mine's is still at "not yet Shipped",Yea she said i should received a confirmation for the smart cover soon but i don't see it in my order status hopefully it shows up soon.
 
Did anyone else's iPad depart Anchorage at 3:55? Mine is headed for Texas and just wondering if anyone knows where the next stop is!

My tracking info says the same thing. I wanna know why they have been in anchorage for almost 30 hours? Friday my estimated delivery was the 16th. Sunday it got pushed back to the 17th. I know I am being picky but what gives?

I work for a company that ships many, many orders a day to China via FedEx. FedEx has two main service levels for international orders: International Priority and Economy service. Typically, International Priority service takes between 1-3 days before it reaches its destination, barring any delays at customs. Orders shipping from China with this service usually take 3 days to arrive because of the distance they need to traverse. China is really long ways away and the routing required to get it here involves multiple aircraft over the course of several days. Apple is likely sending out all the iPads with International Priority service, which means that a three-day transit time is the norm.

Here's my advice: Look at the scheduled delivery date for your shipment. If FedEx says it will arrive on March 17, it will arrive March 17, not a moment sooner. So, sit back, relax, and do something else in the meantime. Obsessing over where it's at or why it hasn't moved from one location in a while will not make it arrive any faster.

By they way, I ordered my iPad after getting turned away at the Apple Store at 7:45 P.M. on Friday. I'm stuck in the 2-3 week camp for mine.

This is a great one!!!! Called and spoke with Customer Service, Told CSR that IPad has been holding in "Prepared for Shipment" mode for 2 days. Their only answer is that it means that my IPad made it into a "BOX". Really??? That's the best they can do? Also my Smart Cover has been sitting in the hub at Lewisberry, PA since 7 am yesterday. Maybe they will meet up at the hub and combine the order.

2 Flip covers are still in Honolulu. Driver told me my iPad was Priority, the covers are 2 day (3 day in Hawaii)

Enroute Anchorage-Oakland, here tomorrow or Wed

I'm having more and more faith I may get mine tomorrow after seeing this (left AK today at 3:10PM)! I'm in ATL as well.

Just curious to know where my package might be if it missed a scan.

No, see, I don't think you understand- I have no scheduled delivery date! Mine hasn't even been prepared for shipment yet- that's why I'm so buggy. Thanks for the advice though, you're right, I know once I get the tracking number there's not a thing I can do to make it come faster, but until then I will be buggy because it's going on 6 days and not even a "prepared for shipping" status update.

CS has proven to be a gaggle of idiots- no surprise there!

Mine has been like that for around 8 hours and just changed to In Transit: LANTAU ISLAND HK, about 30 mins ago...

Congrats dude. You've kind of given me hope that mine will ship soon- same model and ordered about 30 min after you. Perhaps I'll see some movement tomorrow.
