Smart cover received, smart cover returned

Got my smart cover delivery today. Only problem was it was a blue plastic one and not the cream leather one that I ordered. Support wouldn't send out a replacement until they get back the return even though it was their mess up. Not great customer service.

I sure hope they get my iPad order right.

She didn't say i was lying she just just didn't care for that info she said that that's how it is some orders get processed before orders,but i'm gonna call again soon to see if i get a another rep.

Hope you get that sorted out okay! I wouldn't mind if my iPad order is wrong. I only got 16gb so I'll take whatever they send so long as it's white :p
 
I'm really sorry for everyone who is watching these shipments so intently. I have my old one to play with anyway this new one is for hubbie anyway, but I'm excited for him to get it anyway. This is the first gadget that I think he's been interested in for a long time, I think because he invents the technology inside this kind of stuff. I learned to be patient and just wait for stuff in my younger days, so I just watch in amazement when people are screaming at poor apple and it's only Tuesday.

Call again because if we got it, so can you. Mention a friend of yours just got it done and you'd like it done for you, too, right off the bat.
I called twice. Call the number and keep pressing 0 and you'll get a new one for sure.

So here's one.... how many who have managed to get apple to ship are owners of the original ipad?

I wonder if apple is screwing people who their records show already own an ipad.... that way they can get more new owners for marketing purposes.

You know what is strange, mine has been at "Left FedEx Origin Location" since it was "Picked Up" and yours just changed now... Strange...

You think they will be in Alaska in the morning?
 
Got my grey smart cover today. However, that doesn't really help when I don't have an iPad to cover with it. My white 16gb wifi still shows as "Not Yet Shipped" with the earliest delivery date the 18th. Ordered 5:30 am EST on the 11th.

I had one. Ordered it on the first day also. Received it before any retail location. It was awesome but I sold it to help pay for the new one! I am having withdrawals! Interesting theory.

Same exact order as you. Received my Smartcover Saturday. I ordered earlier than you, though. Still "not yet shipped".

you should call back and talk to another rep... crazy they'd wait for yours to get returned before sending another, when they're giving them out for free to many of us...

No, what I mean is I wonder if Apple decided to make wait those they had a record of already owning an ipad 1. Figuring they wouldn't mind waiting becuase they already had one.

Pretty friggin sleazy. Before this debacle, I had a very high opinion of Apple, now they suck as bad as AT&T, Bank of America and all the other companies that continually screw their own customers.

Yours is on the same plane as mine...I might see it tomorrow but not sure I live east of Sacramento so I don't know if it will make it tomorrow or the 17th.
