Gee, mine was also in Newark since 2 am but left around 1:30 this afternoon, headed for NC. Still possible to be delivered by their estimate of tomorrow afternoon so it's all good, if not then by the next day...I'm sure yours will hitch a ride soon!

Same story here, except my white 32g wifi was tossed on a truck out of jersey a few hours ago. I'm in RI

Good news

Happy to say my iPad arrived at lunchtime. It was placed on the truck at 8:30am (in Los Angeles). The cover is pretty cool I have to say and am now just setting it up. Much easier to type out this note on the iPad rather than the phone :)

My order was placed at about 12:45am on the 11th. It bounced around Asia for a while then finally made it's way a over to the US. I found the Yahoo site to be much more useful in tracking the package so if you don't see any movement on the Fedex site directly, go check it out in Yahoo.

My original delivery date wasn't until tomorrow so it did arrive a day early and even though the cover shipped 2 days earlier it showed up on the same truck.

Good luck everyone and even though the wait seems horrible, it is all forgotten once it arrives.
 
Oh I'm SO FREAKIN GLAD that alpaca person got banned! He/she/it was a horrible, individual, and was just grating on my nerves. I seriously wanted to take He/she/it out back behind the woodshed and have a little chit chat. Glad it's gone!!! Phew! :D

I can access all their flight schedules from anywhere in the world. Since I'm an airline pilot, I can ride on any FedEx plane I want, and they have a special site just for pilots to check schedules/routes and stuff.

I find that even with 64GBs I'm still running out of memory! I was really hoping for like 128GB this time around or something. I make do with the 64 though, and I love it. :)
 
Bleeding?

Has anyone noticed bleeding or dead pixels in their new iPads? Is it noticeable enough to justify returning/exchanging? Thanks!

When is the next flight out of that hell and into the US? Where is it heading?

I'm in Connecticut. The fedex site still says friday here but the lack of motion bothers me. Are they delivering these things on Saturday too?

Not Yet Shipped as of 2pm today.
I called CS - no free cover (I didn't ask), but they've now changed my status to "Prepared for ship" - hoping to appease me I'm sure!

ARGH. I would have rather stood in line at the Apple store!:mad:
Not sure why these weren't boxed for shipment, with online orders generating a delivery label on Friday?!


My red cover shipped on 3/14. It's still in China.

Yeah.....7 a.m. pst, finally shipped from China....shows estimated delivery of March 22.....I ordered the black 32G att.....:)

Ordered 32 GB wifi, on 3/10 11:11 hawaii time from apple store and received it yesterday 3/15 2:30 pm

Fedex says that it only delivers on Sat. where Sat. is a normal business day. I am right with you in Lantau Island...I hope it is still Friday too. Golf tomorrow and Ipad on Friday...sounds like a pretty good week...however golf tomorrow and Ipad on Mon could be bad especially because the inlaws are coming on Sat.

I know, but I HAVE seen at least 5 or 6 posts by people who have had theirs delivered, so just wanted to see if they noticed anything...no harm in asking, right? Mine's still in Lantau, too, if it makes you feel any better :eek:
 
Everyone who ordered a smart cover should be mad with apple!
I justa called them asking why my ipad order wasnt shipped yet (I ordered in the 5-7 days timeline) and The girl told me that she dont know what happen, but she can give me two smart cover for free! (my order is for two ipads)
I chose two leather smart covers!
she added them to my order and they should ship in 5-7 days!
(sorry for my english, I just wanted to share my expirience!)

Please don't think I was being rude but as soon as people receive their iPad they leave the forum and return to their normal life. I think there is a thread where people are discussing their new iPad and I bet most of our fellow "waiting for iPad" people migrated over to that thread.
