Is it possible that all of ours that have been at Lantau since this morning are really on the plane landing in Memphis shortly and were just never logged leaving the airport?

I gotta agree with Reyaz here on this one. Some posters are believing what they want to believe. Just because a FedEx truck has delivered something on a Saturday before doesn't mean thats how your package was shipped. International services are very different than domestic. Apple is shipping these International Economy as a standard, not International Priority.
Its just like the ignorant posts that were saying a rep comped them to overnight service. There is no such thing as overnight from China on FedEx and they simply got played by a call center rep. Those reps have to process a certain number of calls in a given time and they will say things like that to get you off the phone.
To prove my point further, even though Reyaz posted this, in bold nonetheless, I guarantee there will be a post within the next page or two that asks the exact same question.
That is what I am thinking. I was looking at other peoples tracking and some didn't show any departure from Lantau, and just appeared in the US. If this is the case hopefully it doesn't go to Alaska!
They promised me the same thing and said I would definatly have by Friday or Saturday.... Guess we'll find out
I was told by apple two different times that they were shipping iPads Monday through Saturday!
Fine by me! My college mailroom is only open Mon-Fri, so I actually prefer this. My iPad won't sit vulnerable all weekend if it gets to my neck of the woods Saturday. Plus, that makes it an even better chance that I'll get it by Monday!

We should know in a few hours i guess because the flight from Shenzen to Memphis just landed several minutes ago. I'm headed to be and i hope im pleasantly surprised that the Ipad is on American soil in the AM!
Same I am about to go to bed soon too and hope its here when I wake up!

Well you can believe either one of us, but i personally know they don't deliver international shipments on a Saturday

Well, of all the complaints I've read - mine has to be the worst. Today, I "had" to attend a meeting from 12 to 1 pm. I left my house at 11:55pm on the bicycle and flew to the meeting room. When I returned at 1:10pm, what did I find... but a note attached to my door. I logged on and found:

Can you believe it? If I had just been five minutes late to the meeting, I would never had made it and noone would have missed me. That's ok though, FedEx will deliver before 4:30 tomorrow. I won't even take a shower without the door open. I'll have my iPad in my hot, live fingers.

That's not surprising. Knowing that Fed Ex would have shown up, if I decided to step out, I just stayed home. Normally, Fed Ex comes about noon but because I was home all day they showed up a little before 4:30 pm. If I had left they would have come earlier and I would have missed them. Anyway, that's how it works. So, if you stay in tomorrow you'll get it. I think it will be worth the wait. It was for me!
So considering I only live a half hour from Newark and the local facility is only 5 minutes away should I be concerned that it hasn't made it there? It left Newark 4 hours ago.
