My engraved white 16GB wifi arrived this afternoon along with both covers - my order is complete.

Lucky you, mine just moved to Prepared for Shipment. Even if the orders where not managed first in first out, at least seeing movements on these units let me think they will respect the delevery time anounced.

There are a bunch of orders at Lantau Island HK...My guess it was on a flight to Memphis...I would guess it will update any moment now...I am in Tulsa and have an 18th delivery date as well.
 
Has anyone received Black 16GB, 3G ATT model in bay area? My order is stuck at "prepared for shipment" for last 3 days.
 
Mine has "shipped" - only thing so far in the FedEx history is "Shipment info sent to FedEx" at 7:10pm. How soon should I expect to see actual movement?

hmmmm...that doesn't bode well. My Black 32GB, 3G ATT (ordered 3/11 1:45AM PDT) just moved to PFS this afternoon. I'm also in the Bay Area. When did you order?

Mine looks EXACTLY like yours!! Ours must be together :) Where do you live in TX? I'm in Houston, and was also hoping that maybe mine is actually making a straight shot right to TX (since we're such a big deal and all, right?)....otherwise, getting nervous about it not moving, even though FedEx says it's still "On Schedule" for Friday at 4:30!

I have the same info as well... Did they forget about us?
 
When I look at the FedEx tracker for mine, the shipping info was sent to FedEx at 7:10pm local scan time, 8:10 eastern time. That means the shipping info was sent from somewhere in the central time zone. Could my iPad be shipping from the midwest somewhere, or is this standard?

I hope not! I woke up at 2:50 to order and I go to work at 5:30 (teacher), so I put in the time to get this thing before the end of my spring break!! I'm really trying to believe that it's hanging out in Memphis or Ft. Worth...maybe passing through Customs?

Mar 11, 1:03 AM. I have a feeling that ATT 3G models especially 16G are not shipping. I see many folks getting 64GB ATT models and very few receiving 32 GB ATT. :(

That's wonderful! It's a tough climate out there right now, good luck - elementary or secondary? I teach 10th-12th, public, English. I'm definitely going to use it to make slicker powerpoint presentations, create class podcasts and publish them, and even grade (most of my kids submit their papers electronically). I'm sure I'll find a ton of other things to do, too :) This is my first iPad, so I'm pretty excited.

I think so! I've seen lots of them sitting in Hong Kong. I hope they're taking care of them over there but its 1pm over there so im sure by noon tomorrow it'll be in Memphis. Im in Edinburg/Mcallen! I should be studying more but all I can think about is this iPad and all the apps and music im going to put on it.:rolleyes:

mine took over 24 hours...it kinda depends on the timing...it will prob. move tomorrow...it is a slow process...Mine went Monday and it is still in China.

18th was FedEx quote, 21st was Apple's - FedEx claims that it's still "On Schedule." I'm thinking maybe Lantau--> Memphis tonight, Memphis--> TX tomorrow, delivery Friday afternoon?
 
I got my notice this morning. ETA is 3/23. yaay!

FedEx...Apple is quoting the longest possible time frame and FedEx is quoting what they think will happen. The shipping is anywhere from 3 to 5 business days so Apple is quoting 5 and FedEx is quoting 4. I am trusting FedEx since this is their job...I just wonder though...if it is late can I call FedEx and they give me a smart cover? JK
 
I ordered mine (64 GB WIFI) at about 3:14 am CST on 3/11; got shipment notification on 3/12; arrived 3/16 at 12:22 pm, Dallas. :)
