Swear to God there was just a 3-17 flight on there scheduled for exact same time as 3-16. Who knows...I am pretty sick of watching. Time to go drink beer...
if it is half way to AK (assuming) I see no reason why it can not make it to CA by end of day tomorrow
I guess those of us with 22nd dates are getting sent to Taiwan first and the ones with 18th date are going to Japan. Damn. enjoy your stuff guys. I will be riding out the weekend.
Mine has the same info, but scheduled for delivery on tuesday of next week, and I'm in California ????
that means yours is going to Taiwan next instead of the ones going to Japan (18th delivery)

No I just didnt take any further actions after the cancellation. I just tried to get one from a local apple store and didnt care about the order anymore. And today I got the shipping confirmation with tracking-number.
Apple costumer service - we even ship cancelled orders

DISCLAIMER: This is not a rant to those out there complaining as I am doing the same thing.
I think the most frustrating thing about this whole shipping situation is that we want our product RIGHT NOW! I will admit, I too have been waiting impatiently for this product to ship and arrive. I think my issue is that Apple is usually good about releasing a product and getting it out in a timely manner. This time...not so much. I will agree with all that have been waiting that it would be nice if they were to release a statement saying that they understand what is happening is frustrating and at least give a semi-apology for what is going on. Maybe a little bit of an explanation on why someone can order after you and receive their iPad before you. I am still within the shipping guidelines so I cant really complain. But what I would like to see is that since people can call in and complain to Apple CS and receive something free, why dont they just treat this as another iPhone incident and give away the Smart Covers to everyone that purchased an iPad for free? The sad part of it all is that we will keep complaining until we get our iPad(s) and then we will not visit this particular thread again. I guess we just need it to vent our frustrations. I for one will say that despite this issue, I will be back to Apple yet once again for another product. iPhone 5 is coming and I will be there ready to deal with this drama again

I am so excited! After much waiting and incessant refreshing of the order status page, my 64 GB WiFi + 3G AT&T Black has FINALLY shipped! I ordered through Apple. Can't wait. FedEx is showing an estimated delivery of March 22nd by 4:30 PM. Longer than I'd like to wait, but it is certainly worth it.

I have a delivery date of 3/22 as well and I am in the Sacramento area. Hopefully ours can hop on the next flight out!!!!
If your shipment went to TA YUAN HSIANG, don't expect it to be here until next week because all the shipments I've seen go that route delivers 2-3 days later.
Chapel, mine is following the exact same route. I can only assume they are on a palette that will be broken apart once it hits the US distribution centers in Anchorage, memphis or who knows where else.
How China > HK > Japan > China > Korea makes any sense is beyond me. If every package takes these types of random hops I can't image Fed Ex is running a cost efficient operation.
If that were done to meet the delivery date of tomorrow by 4:30 pm (which I don't see happening at this point since it has no indication of even being directed stateside at this point) then I would understand. However, the trip from HK > Japan > Korea alone took nearly 48 hours. So if we were to assume that it's jumped around to get to us faster, we'd have to assume that there was no capacity on any Fedex flight from HK or Japan stateside in the last 48 hours???
I ordered mine at 1:04 am PST on Friday the 11th as well. Trying to contemplate why some who have ordered slightly before or well after is simply mind-boggling from a logistical standpoint.
I would say that is would show a touch of class for those who have already received theirs to not continually post in this tread gloating about it. It would be more appropriate if they posted a new thread or an existing owners thread in the forum.
However I've been an apple customer for the last 10 years, that would be a bit much to expect from this rabbid fanbase.

I think I may have found the flight though, noticed it left South Korea at 9:14am my time, think its FDX92 on Flightaware.com

64 GB Wifi Only Black Engraved
My white 64gb ATT 3G engraved seems to be on the same track as yours - now in Taiwan with a delivery scheduled for tuesday 3/22 in the northeast usa. Ordered at 4:01 am EST (1:01 am PST). I called apple customer support yesterday to see if any expedited shipping was available and was told the shipping could not be changed once the status changed to prepared to ship and they were using the fastest shipping option anyway.
There was no offer for a free cover or accessory and I didn't feel right hounding them for this as apple was still well within the delivery dates posted when I placed the order - although I have been very annoyed to see others who ordered later get theirs already. I guess I should have slept a little longer...

My 16GB White AT&T 3G (non-engraved) finally shipped just now. FedEx estimates delivery on the 22nd (Tuesday), but hopefully it will be here sooner.

this right here is why people are getting pissed. they shipped yours today they shipped mine yesterday and we will get it the same day. I want you to have yours as soon as possible too but it makes no sense that they can make it a day faster for you than for me.
none of us have a reason to complain if they are shipped in the time bracket they say that they will be and are received in that bracket also but we are all trying to rationalize a cluster and its just not rational.
