Mine is right there with yours, hanging out on Lantau Island, FedEx has a flight to Memphis scheduled for 9:55pm HKT I'm hoping mine gets on that flight.

Think i can still hope for a Saturday delivery? (even though it has been made clear that international packages dont ship saturday)

WAHOO! My only concern now, is that when I checked Flightaware, there was a flight that left at 3:46CDT heading to Indianapolis, what the heck? But then a flight left at 3:47CDT for Portland, OR, which is where I need it to be. So...did they just scan my iPad a minute early, or did they stick it on the Indianapolis plane? Either way, they have all weekened to get it to me now...but it would cause me a lot less stress to have it land in my actual state this evening. I guess I will find out soon - the Indianapolis flight lands in about 20 minutes, so in about an hour my status will change if it went there...otherwise, I will see a change in about 4 hours!

There was a flight at 3:46 to Indianapolis - and a flight at 3:47 to PDX - looks like we are on the same flight - lets just hope it is to PDX and not further east....

the CS rep I spoke to told me that even if she changed the FedEx method to priority or overnight (acknowledging that she could change the method that showed on the order) it would have no effect. There are so many of these on route that it would be extremely difficult to have one jump ahead of another in delivery... its already a logistical nightmare, imagine if hundreds of thousands of orders had the delivery method changed... translation: anyone whose rep "upgraded" their shipment got feed a load of BS as a way to pacify you.
There was a 3:46pm from Memphis that is about to land in Indianapolis.....
That said, there was a flight @3:47pm heading to Portland, and a 4pm flight heading to LAX...scheduled to arrive @5:32pm PDT...

So glad that, unlike the iPad last year, Apple chose Fed Ex for deliveries.
Both my iPad2 and Digital AV adapter came, in separate shipments, one day earlier than expected. I've always had great service and delivery with Fed Ex. Can't say the same about UPS

1) Look at the departure time from a location
2) Go to www.flightaware.com
3) Find the Airport Tracker/Info section on the left side
4) Put in the city name in the Second field... If you know the airport code put that in the First field. Memphis is KMEM...
5)On the resulting page, click on the more link next to Departures. You'll get 20 listings sorted in a descending fashion ( most recent on top ) based on departure times.
6) Match the times to a flight and click on the flight number... i.e., FDX730. From there you can track it in real time...
Unless it is flagged Saturday Delivery they won't deliver it on Saturday... That said, you *MIGHT* be able to call Fedex and have them hold it for you at the facility and go pick it up tomorrow... It's over southern Indiana right now....
