Finally made it to PA last night around 7 pm. But I'm not expecting it to move on Sunday to my local fedex office (it would be a nice surprise if it did) ... So it looks like I'll have it tuesday.

Mine went straight from 1 day on island in hong kong to 1 day in Memphis directly to destination in San Diego sort facility yesterday afternoon . Mine moved quick! I just hope they deliver it tomorrow!
good luck!Wish I knew. Mine is here at San Diego sorting facility since yesterday afternoon. It shows del for Tuesday the 22nd but I had a fed ex notification 5 days ago that said mon the 21st. Tomorrow! But if they haven't sorted it it will be tuesday.... I am still hopeful I will get it tomorrow though! Yeah!
I believe that they don't sort until Sunday evening... I drive past the Nashville hub on Sundays and the employee lot is not full like it is during the week...
My 32GB White AT&T iPad is also hanging out in Hong Kong...

Someone earlier said that there are no FedEx flights out of Hong Kong on Sundays.... but it'll be Monday there in 30 minutes!
So the question is, when is the next flight out of Hong Kong on Monday?
I've seen all sort of trackings. From Lantau Island to Anchorage, or straight to Memphis, or to a couple places in Japan before it moves on to the US.
So someone spin the Wheel 'o' Destinations quickly and get them moving, please.

I think in my case they might.... They'll sort in Memphis, put it on a truck to Nashville, arrive in Nashville in about 3 hours, sort again and put it on a delivery truck... Of course, YMMV, but I guess it would be possible depending on your location and such.

Wow, I found some more people stranded on the Lantau Islands! I'm in the exact same boat. 32GB AT&T 3G Black.
Well, here is a lovely list of our stuck pallet. We will have to hope for movement today. (Monday in China) Someone please raise your hand when the loading crew walks by!

There are three possible flights on Monday.
20:05 to Memphis
22:10 to Memphis
22:10 to Japan and then to Oakland
As far as I can tell the first flight to Memphis isn't a normal flight but the one at 22:10 is a regular daily flight. Also interesting that there are non to Anchorage.
Remember there is a 12 hour time difference between Memphis and Hong Kong so those flights actually arrive in Memphis Monday evening and then they would go on to local facilities for a Wednesday delivery.
FedEx guy on phone told me that even though my iPad arrived in the "local FedEx facility" on Friday night after passing through the "destination sort facility", it will remain containerized until late Sunday night/early Monday morning. Packages with due dates of Monday will be prioritized first for delivery on Monday, and then Tuesday. But he said its always possible it could arrive on Monday. Bummer that it is a few miles from me for potentially 3 full days. No movement at all after Friday night per this rep.
1.5 days seems to be the standard length for a stay on Lantau Island...

It hasn't been fun to watch at all. Like watching grass grow. I now have seven scans at Lantau Island. I may be able to get one more if there are no flights out today.
