Yeah, mine's stuck in Lantau Prison with both of yours (and AKJROB's).
Let's hope they've all gotten together and are plotting an escape...
 
My 32G att is at LANTAU ISLAND HK for the 3rd or 4th day now... It's already early afternoon local time in HK, when will it be on the road again? Anyone know?

I'm in Manhattan so it's on it's way to the Bronx sort facility next, I'm pretty sure. It still shows estimated delivery as the 23rd, but now hoping for either today or tomorrow. Email and original estimated was for the 22nd till they switched it back a day.

My past orders from apple/fed ex that go to the Newark facility that head into NYC usually go to the Bronx sort facility and then delivered. Usually takes a day, sometimes they're fast and it will be sorted the same day and on a truck, but usually it takes one more day. I wouldnt be shocked to see you or I get ours the 22nd now.

I'll be pissed for sure though if they just decide to hold it till the 23rd, fed ex has done that to me before... Yet Ups which I dont really care for will deliver packages early :/

That's what concerns me, I've had a package that was scheduled for delivery by FedEx on a certain date, but it would arrive a day or two early to my area. They didn't deliver it because my "Scheduled Delivery Date" hadn't arrived yet. I had to call to move it up, and I'm concerned that this is the situation I'm going to face today. On the other hand, UPS has never had a problem delivering early.

I have a similar problem where I live. My cover was here two days early and even put on the truck for delivery but later put back in the warehouse with a note that it was not due for delivery. BUT, I do sometimes get lucky if it was just one day early. It all depends on how busy they are. Mine just hit Honolulu and in the morning I will wake to a message that it is on the truck in Linue or still in Honolulu. At least I know I will have it before noon on tuesday.

Congratulations on being one step closer to getting your iPads. Did most of you that are posting shipping updates order yours on the 11th of March? I ordered mine on the 13th at an AT&T store. I'm just curious if any shipments have gone out with iPads bought past the initial release day.
 
Now I am convinced there is no possible way that fedex can deliver by apples promised date of Wednesday. My iPad has been stuck in Osaka since Friday.

my ipad has been in Sennan-shi for over 48 hours now. Do you think this is due to the tsunami? Has anyone else experienced this delay in Japan?

Prayers to everyone in Japan. My ipad certainly isn't priority.
 
Do you think fedex is not delivering earlier than due day is because of signature is required? People would likely to wait for a package on the day they are expecting it.

hi!
its NOT due to the harible earthquake and such! there ARE NO PLANES from china to USA! i think 1 on saturday, but only sometimes. they dont transport cargo from china to USA on weekends! BUT, your ipad should be out of japan by tmw(monday!)
 
Well my iPad as made it to Dulles Airport about 5 miles from my house but looks like it is on a truck to the distribution center in Alexandria VA about 20 miles away. It could make it today maybe but definitely by tomorrow.

Ahh, so the problem was the weekend then? Keep in mind Sennan-shi is in Japan, so do you think there are also no planes on weekends from Japan to the US?

yeah, thats the problem, there now all in the US prob, there going to be lots there soon! go to
flightaware.com and fool around on that website!

Nah, Japan had flights out of Osaka (Sennan-shi) during the weekend, otherwise mine wouldn't have made it to Anchorage by Saturday night.
