Good news is my iPad cover now shows delivery by tomorrow after saying 3-5 days to ship originally. So hope ipad can arrive monday at the latest.

They canceled my order too! They also shipped a

Edit: it still says "not yet shipped". Does it take time to say "Canceled"?

Mine says the same!!!!

Strange thing is that another friend received the same email & her order says"Cancelled" !!!
 
Anybody have an iPad2 moved to 'prepared for shipment'?

They can ship accessories same day but not the actual iPad2?

Really feels like a deliberate attempt by Apple to get people into the retail stores.

Me no likey either. I am nowhere near an Apple store this weekend and my iPad funds are mostly on an Apple card (the card was a Christmas gift in lieu of an iPad 1).

I ordered one about 4:00 am EST:

IPAD WI-FI 3G 64GB BLACK-USA

Ships: 3 - 5 business days
Delivers: Mar 18 - Mar 25

IPAD SMART COVER RED-USA
Ships: 1-2 Business days
Delivers: Mar 16 - Mar 21


Well, at least the cover will get here before the iPad...... usually it is the other way around

After 12 hours i get a message mentioning that I have exceeded my order limit, i ordered just one unit:rolleyes:. now i reordered and was pushed 3 weeks ahead. This is unfair.

I will be calling them, but knowing the answer i will get, i just went ahead and bought it again. I am trying to find a way to chat online with the support team. No luck yet. Else will call later.

it would have shipped on the 13th of March. Now it will be shipped 1 week of April.

Do you think there is any hope of getting them to expedite?:confused:

I had the same email this afternoon from Apple, I only ordered one (1) iPad 2 - 3G - 32GB. I am currently on hold waiting for a supervisor to fix this situation. I am not happy, as when I ordered the iPad it was a 3-5 business day wait and now it is 2-3 weeks. I hope they make this right with me.

Do a Twitter search for "iPad 2 shipped" and you'll see that orders are shipping. This is good news! I was one of the first customers to order mine, so hopefully it will ship soon.

Hope is a bit grim.... but praying you get your way around. Probably a free box for this LOUSY goof up.

Breaks my heart, my wife will be traveling without it. Thanks to the delay. A birthday gift that wont arrive on time:mad:

What's that got to do with living in flats or using a bundlebox?!!!?

I'm punching myself right now for not staying up to order online like everyone else! I thought that my local Target store would have them in stock today, but turns out that they didn't. So then I called apple and ordered one and my delivery estimate is April 6th. (I placed the order at 5:05pm)

Because it might go by address. If other people are shipping to the same address, their system might automatically generate that.
