Arriving at my house today! Original shipment info from Apple was it was going to ship 4/1 and arrive 4/8, but it shipped super early; FedEx said it will arrive 4/30, but it's getting here today. Can't wait to get home from work tonight!!!

How long do they usually stay in "Prepared for Shipment" status before Fedex gets it? Mine's been in that status for almost 24 hours now. :(
 
I ordered on March 11th at 2:54 PM PDT. My shipping notice email arrived this morning at 10:30 AM EDT. More info in sig below.

Yeah same here. I know CHEP LAP KOK is the HK airport. When my smart cover shipped it had the same status before arriving in the US.

That's common, happened to lots of people. Happened on my smart cover too. Like the guy said, Chek Lap Kok is the Hong Kong airport.

Ok so what time EST will the flight leave and what time will it land EST? I'm confused with all the time zones

I mean it says Depart 7:15pm HKT on 3/28 So I'm assuming that it departed about 6 hours ago and it's supposed to arrive in Alaska on 3/28 at 12:28 PM?

So converting that to EST then it left HK at 7:15am EST on 3/28 and it'll arrive at Alaska at around 4pm EST, which hopefully it'll be able to clear customs by the end of the day and head to Memphis (I assume) tonight and then to it's final sort facility for delivery tomorrow?

That's my thought process. Should hit Memphis tonight.
 
My iPad is doing the same thing my hdmi cable did. It got to Tulsa Sunday evening and is sitting there until early Tuesday morning. Won't get mine until tomorrow.
 
Delivered this morning! Ran home at lunch and got it off of the porch. :)

prob to cover the activation fee they'll charge you later! Ordering from Verizon or AT&T has been a Cluster from all the threads on non-shipments I've read. Good luck
 
My 16GB AT&T White iPad 2 ordered March 12 @ 7 PM PDT has been canceled (by me.) I bought the exact same model at the Atlanta Lenox Square Apple Store this very good morning. So, someone else will be moving one place closer to delivery.

I've played around with it for a couple of hours and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE it. No dead pixels, backlight bleed, etc. It is updating to 4.3.1 right now--taking forever. Hopefully, you all will get your new iPads much sooner than you expect. I know your really going to be quite happy with them. Thanks for keeping me entertained these past two weeks.
