Yes I also can confirm that my order which shipped on 4/1 shipped directly to Chicago, no mention of anywhere in between. This tells me that we might see our iPad's as early as Monday.
 
I'll receive mine till April 6th before 10:30 AM. It shows Fedex received mine after cutoff. I don't mind waiting an extra day. It seems they're shipping large batch of ipad's before the estimate shipping date.
 
Fedex flight 76 Hong Kong to Anchorage lands in 7 minutes - could my ipad actually be on that plane? It left the ramp in Hong Kong about 10 hours ago.😀

Mine is destined for San Jose CA, and it went from Shenzhen to Lantau Island, Hong Kong. There as of 11:30pm 4/3. Hopefully it doesn't stay there too long. ETA is 4/7.

My iPad was on that flight! It arrived in Anchorage a few minutes ago (11:44am EDT)! 😀 I'm getting this info from the Yahoo site. The Fedex site still reads 04/02 Lantau Island with a delivery date of Apr 7. I wonder if that date will change to an earlier date. I can't imagine it taking until Thursday now.

Ordered March 15 (from Apple)

shipping/delivery was set for April 19/22

just got a shipment notification with delivery by April 7!
 
This is all garbage I ordered (march 13th, 6:30PM PDT) before a lot of people posting so far, but it still says prepared for shipment and it hasn't been shipped yet. Meanwhile people who ordered on the 15th have had their shipped!

My ship date and delivery stay the same as the were in the beginning, APril 11th and April 14th...
 
Looks like mine is on track for early arrival. Moving faster than I expected.

Estimated delivery date on 04/07 but I am thinking it could be as early as Tuesday.

I guess it is possible for tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath.

I have the exact same tracking data for my iPad. I also have an estimated delivery date of Apr 7. I'm thinking an Apr 5th (Tuesday) delivery for me in DC is possible.

Released for delivery means it's on a delivery truck, on it's way to you. 🙂
 
i have a question. my friend from cali is bringing home my ipad 2 which is now At local FedEx facility in LANTAU ISLAND HK. it says its on schedule with the Estimated delivery of Apr 7, 2011 by 4:30 PM. thing is, she arriving may. but her friend leaves for cali april 6 so she could bring it. what are the chances of it arriving earlier?

Looks like I am also, my estimated delivery date is the 6th, I'm in Iowa, close to Omaha. 🙂

Based on what I am reading here, it is very possible that it could arrive early, just keep a close eye on it. this page will give you more detailed info on it's journey: http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/r-packageTracker-s-fedex

yeah this basically means it cleared customs in Chi since it didn't stop in AK, so it will probably take a flight to Newark and then a truck based on the shipping patterns of other's devices.
 
i really hope so. just for information purposes. this is my status. i really hope it gets there on the 5th.

WOW these are my same shipment days as well, I to order on march 16th i sure hope it comes early , That would be great my 6 year old child would get off mt back,
