The original expected ship date was April 11th. At the time I ordered the site indicated 3-4 weeks.

My credit card was charged last night, ordered 3/14 at 7:54 pm PDT. Original ship date 4/11, delivered 4/14.

My order status hasn't changed yet and I haven't been charged for the red smart cover but progress is progress. I also ordered a black smart cover but that arrived on 3/23. Hopefully this means everything will be here sometime this week.

today is Apr 2 so isn't weird ?

Credit card charged at 4pm yesterday.

"Prepared for shipping" at 7:30am today (it didn't happen overnight - was still "not yet shipped" , and the engraving was still editable at 7:00 am).

I'm really hoping I get it this week! I'm going on a trip for work next Sunday and I'd love to have it on the plane. :D
 
Just got charged by Apply on my credit card, but still nothing in terms of "being prepared for shipment" Apple- let's goooooooooooo

Are these iPads being built now getting loaded with ios 4.3.1?

Mine miraculously made from AK to Memphis to Minneapolis overnight. I'm located about 30 miles north of Minneapolis, so I'm probably looking Monday delivery. That would end up being about 2 days ahead of the original estimation.

Hey guys... Is apple shipping these ipads ahead of schedule or is the projected date dead on? I am projected to ship on the 21 and get on the 26th. I am hoping to get it earlier....lol.

My original delivery date said April 22. I am thrilled :), it looks like I am way better than the week difference I have seen here. I won't count my chicks before they actually ship, though.

Not being a previous Apple person or having the touchy screen gadgets, I am not quite sure what to do with it when I get it. My neighbor is my tech guru and Apple pro, I am sure I will fairly proficient after not too long. Thanks for letting me lolly gag here, it seems like a good learning place.

Says prepared for shipment, but my ship date is still April 11th and delivery date is still the 14th. Everyone else got a bump up? What's up with that? :(
