I think most of the orders are shipped around one week before than the estimated date. Good luck!.
If Apple has any sense of fairness you should get yours much sooner than this. I'm in the UK and those of us that placed orders on the morning of UK launch day (March 25th) were given 'ships: April 15th'.
It's only right that you'd get yours shipped before those of us in the UK, as you ordered yours 5 days earlier. Only time will tell though.

You could argue this either way. I got up at 1am in New Zealand on 25th, and also got a ship date of april 15th. I suspect that a portion of the upcoming production line had been set aside for our "launch", and that production may be coming up soon. So if we just compare order dates, it'll look unfair, but it isn't.
Whatever order Apple delivers the iPads in, they'll annoy some people. I'd say if they ship it before the promised ship date, then that's all bonus

Ordered March 12th at 7:00am. It's at the local fedex facility. Still says its supposed to arrive March 5th. Shouldn't it say out for delivery since it's so close? It's 15 min from my house! Will they hold it for another day???

in all honesty I think that 
should have anticipated some of the demand... The lack of product on launch day and days following created a opening for competitors like xoom... It's not like it's their first hit product. It also turned some customers away. OTOH the lack of product might also work to entice newcomers?I live in a fairly large metro area... at 6pm on launch day I called all 4
stores and they were sold out. Every Target store and Best Buy were out, and even Sam's Club was cleaned off. And hours worth of stock on launch day in a major metropolitan area? c'mon.. sorry getting off topic Can't wait for mine.

Yesterday, my iPad left Memphis for LA at 4:25 PM CT and arrived at 6:07 PM PT. Now the status says that it left LA ramp at 3:00 AM PT this morning. I live 90 miles away from LA and should see the On the truck out for delivery very soon. Two days ahead of initial delivery promise!!

I ordered Saturday the 12th at 2:14PM ET, after unsuccessfully waiting in line both Friday night and Saturday morning. My ship date from Apple was April 11th, and my delivery date was April 14th. As with many other orders, I am happy to report that Apple has significantly underpromised and overdelivered!
They actually shipped my new iPad from China on March 31, promising that it would be here in Massachusetts by this Thursday (the 7th). FedEx said that it would be a day earlier, arriving on Wednesday, the 6th.
My iPad somehow made incredible progress this weekend, moving from Alaska to New Jersey, and then on to Boston. I just received word that it is OUT FOR DELIVERY, and will be arriving at my house TODAY, a full 3 days before Apple's arrival estimate, and 2 days before the FedEx estimate (and, of course, a full week before it was even supposed to ship). This is really impressive!

32GB Black 3g Verizon shipped Apr 3rd with a ETA of April 7th to Milwaukee
64GB Black Wi-fi shipped April 4th with the same ETA.
Orignal ETA was ship on Apr 11th with delivery on the 14th for the wi-fi and 18th for the 3g

You probably have one more stop before it is delivered, in my case I am in Kirkwood and it goes to Maplewood from Berkeley. I have seen where it will go out in the afternoon if it gets to Maplewood early enough assuming they have a commitment to deliver it that day.
Anyone else order on the 22nd or later have theirs changed from Not Yet Shipped?

I ordered 9 days earlier (Mar 16) and got 5 days later (Ship Apr 20) BUT
Read the last few pages!!! people with Mar 15 order dates shipped and are shipping last week and this week. March 16 dates ( Mine
) Should ship this week along with some 17s and 18s by the weekend if the trend keeps up.Also Apple CS on the phone has told me (and dozens of others who called) orders fulfilled in the order they were received.
