iPad cover got delivered yesterday... iPad still in transit.
No delivery date added... From it's location I'd say Monday. If it makes Anchorage today, I'll get it tomorrow.

Seems like on Friday they'll all get to the U.S., then be dispersed regionally. Unless they're doing Saturday delivery on these, it seems like it'll be Monday.

Let's see...for me that'd be 37 days from order to delivery!

Although I dont know of an aircraft capable of going from China to KY without a refuel stop

They're out there. There's been non-stop passenger service on the NYC - Beijing route for about the last decade.

Call it 6700 nautical miles from Chengdu to Louisville. Probably on one of UPS' MD-11s with >7000 nm range.

I was using the Fed Ex tracker apple provides but found out it is delayed. A friend told me to use this URL because it is updated much faster. Sure enough, when I checked, my package was halfway to Alaska. The Apple site said it was still at Lantau Island (for like 10 hours). In some cases it is the same but might as well check it out. Just add the tracking # Apple provides.

If your tracker says thats it is transit from lantau island or chek lap kok its most likely on a plane or waiting for one. not sdure if anybody is aware of this so please dont be affended for those who do, but lantau island is where hong kong international airport is. also chek lap kok IS hong kong airport. so once u see in transit from either of these locations i would start check for flights. i was lucky cause there was only one flight scheduled and fifteen minutes after landing it was released for delivery in achorage.

ahh i see, I live in pennsylvania, so as long as it leaves alaska tonight into tomorrow, than i should be good. If not, than for sure on monday.

Works for UPS shipments as well...

gives me some added info that the regular tracker doesn't show. Mines en route to Louisville KY and then from there off to Atlanta... I might get it tomorrow.. but doubtful!

Yeah me too. I'm hoping once I get the tracking number it's already halfway to Philadelphia. Haha. I know it won't be but I'm trying to be positive.

My original ship date was 4/27 so it's still a little ahead of that.
