I originally ordered a White 32GB Wifi with an engraving on April 3rd. However, in a lapse of judgement involving the realization that I may want to sell my iPad at some point in the future and a lack of sleep at 4 AM, I cancelled the order on April 8th and ordered the same model, engraving-free. This moved the ship date from the 25th to the 29th, so I've been anxiously checking for any movement ahead of schedule since. So far, nothing!

My smartcover has been staring me in the face for the past two weeks since it arrived. :-/

Ya I 've had my smart cover out and back in of the box like a dozen times already.. it looks used lol The leather smells yummy...

So...I think UPS is screwy. Twice it has said it's on it's way to Louisville on a date in the future and twice, it's still leaving China. Never again.
 
btw, neither UPS or Aplle now gives me a delivery date. I do not understand.

LOL I don't understand this tracking. Last thing it said was the package is in Germany and now it says Hong Kong - Departure Scan?

OK. i'm offically pissed. my ipad missed 3 flights to Chicago and my status is Held At Sorting Facility in Memphis 4 times. I don't know if there will be flights in the wee hours of the morning (there are usely 2 flights at 2 and 3AM). But since it's Easter, I don't know.

seems weird, but the customs clearance is done before the iPad actually departs from China. btw our ipads seem to take the same flight :)

after 2 days..... 2 darn days.....it says departure scan.... it really annoying and misleading on the information.
 
this is painful

Apple is toying with me.

I was ok with a shipping date of April 22 and ETA of the 28th or so. But then I received notice that it went out on the 19 with an ETA of the 21. Of course, it's the 23rd and it's not here yet because it was stuck in Missaussaga for longer than it should have.

Now, the good news - it's in Mirabel sorting centre. I could drive there in 40 minutes and pick it up. Of course, things aren't done like that. :(

So, I'm sure hoping FedEx delivers on Monday. But ya know.... I would have been ok with the original set-up! :rolleyes:

Looks like we are on the same flight.
I called UPS earlier and they said it was express shipping and WILL deliver Mon 4/25 by 10:30 am. Let's hope they are telling the truth.

Apple uses UPS for shipping now? I used to always receive my apple products through FedEx.
I was shipping my iPhone4 to a buyer the other day, so I told the person handling the mail to either ship it using UPS or Fedex (I thought it's safer than USPS). I was told that since it's an iPhone (or any electronic), it's best to ship it using Fedex because if the phone broke (i.e. the screen) during shipping, UPS won't take responsibility for that, even with insurance.
 
My 4/7 order for a 32 gb, black, wi-fi went PFS today, but the 4/28 ship date hasn't changed and the delivery date has moved out 5 days from 5/2 to 5/7.
 
Question?

Does Fed-Ex deliver on Mondays? I heard there operation hours for delivery are Tuesday-Saturday, is that true?
 
Finally last leg to SHIPITAPO, next stop, the badlands. I should have it by this Friday :D

me too .Updated late last night to prepared for shipping (April 6 order of white 3g att engraved) . Shipping to upstate NY. The original arrival date was 4/28 now is 5/2.

@RoosMC: mine too.

Ordered a black 32 GB 3G iPad on 4/4. Went to PFS on 4/21, shipped on 4/22 and will most likely be delivered in Germany on 4/26.

Original shipping date was 5/2 with delivery on 5/6.
