My device seems to be enjoying an extended visit on Lantau Island, HK... :mad:

Another 24 hrs and counting with the in transit to Louisville, KY.
Left there at 1:14 am china time. Yesterday. UPS customer service still saying it'll deliver tom by 10:30 am. I don't see how but I hope they're right.
 
Im curious for those that order after April 19th with the 1-2 week shipping changes....Who ordered an ipad2 within this week and already has it shipped within the 1-2week period?

Expected ship May 6

Thats so weird! We both ordered during the 1-2 week shipping date and yours is much later than mine?? Maybe I live in NYC and that could be less flights?

Well I ordered a black 32GB WIFI+3G Verizon, I figured I would have mine earlier aha.

I live in NC, so east coast as well.

I have pretty much given up hope on getting my April 8th order of a Black 32 wifi.

Estimated ship date has been April 29th and delivery of May 3rd since I originally put in the order. Still no changes to anything at all.
 
I ordered 4/7 with a shipping 4/28 and delivery 4/29. Lmao because it ain't gonna happen. Status is still Not Yet Shipped.

I ordered 4/22 as well and paid the $12 for expedited shipping.

Right now my order says expected ship May 6 and expected delivery May 10 :confused:

Mine is 4 hours away from me since Friday afternoon... And I wont' get it till wed I bet !
 
I ordered mine on 3/26 and the website site said, "usually ships the same day." When I got my order confirmation, it said shipping 4/25 with delivery by 4/28. OK. UPS says it shipped on 4/20 and then it took a trip all over Asia before it finally got to Louisville today. It's now on a truck (supposedly) to Roanoke, VA where it will be delivered tomorrow, but...

This is EXPRESS service? I had no idea that these things were shipped from China. I could have gone to Wal-Mart and had one the day I ordered it. No lines or anything, but I hate to do business with W-M, so I chose to order. In the meantime, Wally World ran out and I was stuck with this order. Last week, Wal-Mart got a new shipment in and they are on display. I saw them last night. And I wasn't avoiding taxes because Apple charged me sales tax on the bloody thing. I've ordered all kinds of stuff from the Apple store in the past and always got great service. No more.

From now on, I'm heading to Best Buy or even Wal-Mart and forgetting Apple's store. I may avoid UPS as well because if this is express service, I don't want any part of it, even if it is from China. In fact, I might just buy a Blackberry Playbook or a Motorola Zoom in its next generation if these games continue to be played.

I'll probably not be so out of sorts when it arrives. It should get to Roanoke by truck tonight and make the trip to my place tomorrow.

mine too! i wonder where our ipads are, because i know they couldn't of been in the air this long.

Plus, i dont see any ups flights flying in to Louisville anytime soon today :(

In my experience, UPS tracking info isn't as complete or consistent as FedEx. I have had packages delivered by UPS with only 2 pieces of tracking info: picked up and delivered. If customer service says you'll get it tomorrow, I'd bet that you'll get it.

I hope your right. I called two separate times and they told me yes it will definitely be delivered mon by 10:30. I'll let everyone know if it does.

Yes, even I called yesterday, and they said that the shipment will be delivered by mon 10.30. But the tracking page still shows its in transit to Loiusville - hasn't changed at all in the last 24+ hrs :(

Yup my tracking info is almost identical to yours. For both our sakes I hope we get 'em tom.

It gets updated faster. it works for some UPS packages too.

Does it really take 9 extra days to ship to my home? Hopefully it'll ship much faster.
