Aril 6th order is on it's way to upstate NY

I ordered a white 16g att 3g on March 6th and had it engraved. It was prepared for shipment on Saturday US time and I have been given a delivery date to Upstate NY for Thursday April 28th.
This is the exact date I was given when ordered on March 6 when the time frames were 2-3 weeks for shipping. n Saturday they had moved it to May 2nd and then it went back when it was shipped.

To those like me (where their iPad flew out of Hong Kong this morning): after creeping on the UPS flight schedules (assuming all of ours are on the same flight, which looks like it judging by the times), the plane will land in Anchorage in about 35 minutes. It will then take off at 3:16pm AKDT and land in Louisville Kentucky at 1:07am EDT.

My status *just* changed. I ordered a 32 GB AT&T Black on April 8 with a ship date of April 29 and a delivery date of April 30. The good news is that the status is now "Prepared for Shipment". Ship date remains at April 29 but the delivery date has slipped to May 4. :mad::mad:

Any chance it could ship before April 29 and be delivered sooner?

I'm in the exact same boat. Only difference is that mine is a 64.

I think mine is on the same flight— thank you for finding that out! It's good to have a ballpark of when we finally might be getting them. UPS gives us nothing.
 
Well, it's been fun everyone. My iPad arrived today and I'm currently typing this message on it. It arrived one day before the month anniversary of my order. Everything good so far. I'll have to check for backlight bleed later.

So my last status update was on Saturday:

It looks like other folks with this status have received additional updates since then. I emailed with UPS and they essentially told me that they have no additional information and that I should just contact Apple and have them initiate an investigation since it seems to have disappeared off their radar. So much for my extra $12. for express shipping. :(:(:(:confused:
 
Finally got my Prepared for Shipment notification. My delivery date moved from May 3rd to May 4th. Ughhhh.

my PTS lasted 7 hours. average is about 12 - 24 tho. I think fedex is faster at getting them out but UPS dilivers faster. mine came in today and i used it for 5 hours in between doing homework! my dad also used it for like 2 hours. the battery life is amazing. came fully charged and never changed it yet.

I'm going to miss this thread once mine arrives...this is the only site keeping me sane as I wait anxiously for my iPad to get out of Lantau Island HK....:p
