its been like this for 2 days. on the yahoo ups page it reads

Yesterday I called UPS and they told me that is still in China clearing customs. That was until I got an update saying that is in transit to Louisville.
I hope it is coming until MAY 16 when I will leave US.

i just hope it comes in tomorrow morning. mine says that is in transit to louisville also, but thats far away from michigan lol

Also have the same status. Supposed to be delivered on the 12th. Yea... seems fairly unlikely at this point. I hate UPS.

Lucky people. Mine just says in transit, on schedule. While that's good, I've no idea where in the world it is, which annoys me. Here's hoping by this Friday (it's due the next working day, Monday but it would be very handy this weekend).
 
I ordered on 5/2, 16gb black verizon

original ship date was 5/17 with original delivery date of 5/24

just received my shipping notice yesterday (5/10) and scheduled to arrive friday (5/13)

over a week early from the original scheduled delivery date!


I just checked the tracking and its already in TN, arrived from China overnight.

I haven't read through every post here, but I have seen some questions about when your card actually gets charged.

I can say that mine got hit one day after order (really the second full day). Not sure if this has to do with the free engraving. I would imagine others do not get hit until just before actual shipment.

I'm heading out on a business trip on Monday and actually thought about taking my chances at the local Apple store to see if I could get one this week....guess not, now that my card has already been hit.:(

When did u ordr? Was it engraved? What was ur estimated dates from the beginning? I am trying to figure out why and on witch basis apple is using UPS or FEDEX.
 
I got a movement last night about 8pm saying my iPad is in transit in the island. Its been like that ever since. Who else is on FEDEX?

Oooooh! I have an update! It is no longer wandering aimlessly through China! Not that it makes me feel any more confident that they'll deliver it when stated (5/12), but at least it isn't just wandering the Great Wall of China anymore...

Anyone ever see something like this:

It's been there for about 20 hours - why has the package shipped and delivery being scheduled in China haha? I'm in Canada!
 
Is anyone else's Smart Cover being shipped via Syncreon Technology, because I have absolutely no idea how to track it on their website (Syncreon Technology's website). Which number(s) on the Apple website, goes into the "Order Number" and "Sales Order Number" on the Syncreon website?

I think some other carrier picks it up: like UPS, pick it up and send it to America.

Mine's gone from Hong Kong, to Luxembourg, and, in a few days, it'll be given to a "3rd party."

Got my shipping notice on May 9., ordered April 19.
The iPad, shipped via Expeditors Hong Kong, just arrived in Amsterdam but still has to clear customs. It'll than get merged with my smartcover & sent to my house via Syncreon (found no way to track with them).

Looking forward to May 18. :D (first estimate was May 23)
 
Just got my shipping notice last night. Ordered on 4/21 a 32GB VZW 3G, and a 64GB VZW 3G both in black, and shipping 2nd day via FedEx puts delivery tomorrow afternoon! :D
