Agreed I am in exactly the same boat (albeit with a much longer time frame). I really want to see mine sooner then apr 1st, and am tuning in here to get a gauge on were they are in orders. But you must admit the degree to witch people are getting frustrated is a little over the top.

My Verizon 32gb black engraved iPad 2 is prepared for shipment as of this morning.
I ordered mine before they went on sale technically....the processing is spotty at best...white 32 gig model....

Hello everyone. I ordered two iPad 2s AT&T 3G version at approximately 2:45am March 11th and mine has shipped as well as my black leather 'smart cover'. I ordered a second iPad shipping direct to a friend of mine and a green 'smart cover' -- shipping notice for her 'smart cover' was in my email in-box by 8am March 11th, however her iPad 2 has just updated this AM to "Prepared for Shipping" as you can see by the attached PNG of the Apple order status update from the Apple.com website. FYI, both my smart cover and iPad are drop shipping from Shenzen, China.

I disagree...if I drop $700 on a device that you say is shipping immediately I should have to wait a couple weeks. I ordered before 1 am PST and mine still hasn't shipped....if you are not going to process quickly you need to state that up front.
Lucky you, what time did you order and where is it being shipped to? My order was placed @ 3:03am central time on 3/11/2011.
White Ipad 2
Has anyone received the white Ipad 2 yet? I was just in Best Buy and they had it on display. I was really disappointed as it was an ugly yellowish color; hopefully it was just the store lighting. I'm beginning to wish I had ordered black. But, it's really great how thin it is and how much lighter it feels.

For those like me who have been shipped already and are "stuck" in Lantau.... that isn't exactly correct. Just talked to FedEx, and mines in Taiwan now, and has left. It's getting ready to head to Alaska. It still shows up on the main FedEx tracking as being in transit in Lantau. So it went:
Shenzen --> HK/Lantau --> Taiwan --> Alaska --> Memphis (projected - I've also seen things go through Indy) --> then Atlanta for me.

Ordered 32g AT&T Black 3g @ 12:57A PST, and it's now (as of 14 March) listed as prepared to ship!
Here's the flight mines going to be on in about 2 hours or so. Note it connects to Indy as I thought of a couple of posts above. That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to Indy, but several things I've shipped with Apple have gone through there rather than MEM.

It seem like only bigger cities are getting their shipments. No one near me has gotten anything. I live in a small town outside of Springfield,IL and I think they are sending out shipments to places where the most people ordered. I ordered at 2:47am CST .. White 32GB At&t Engraved

I ordered 1 32gb verizon black ipad two minutes before you without engraving and still nothing! Mine is supposed to get shipped to KC.
