Yeah, it said explicitly--"Ships in 3-5 business days."

Business days are Monday through Friday. We ordered early Friday morning, so counting that day they have until Thursday to get them all out and hit the 3-5 business day window.

I ordered my AT&T 32G White at 1:11 PST Cover was shipped 3/12 but only stated that the information was sent. I've been checking the tracking info periodically and this message is what just came up:

Also you have to understand Apple is not going to ship the iPads based on priority of who ordered first and whose is more expensive, they are just trying to get the orders shipped as fast as possible. This is what I know, if you ordered an iPad when the shipping estimate was 3-5 business days, you will receive your iPad by the end of this week, at the latest Monday, if there is something wrong with your order Apple will notify you as soon as they can. Just because you see in your order status "Not Yet Shipped" does not mean there is something wrong with your order, what it does mean is that they have not been scanned, but trust me they have been shipped, once again I am talking only to the people who ordered their iPad when the shipping was 3-5 business days. FedEx and Apple are two of the greatest companies of All-Time, they are not perfect, but pretty dang close, they know what they are doing, just be patient, like I said you will have your new iPad 2 by the end of this week, at the latest Monday, no matter which model you ordered. Any questions you have I will try to answer.

My other question is, doesn't Apple charge your Credit/Debit card once it is shipped? In my case, my card has not been charged and I don't forsee Apple shipping a product for home delivery without payment.

I'm thinking the one I ordered...Verizon 32gb black simply isn't a finished product yet.

My iPad and a lot of others are on that flight. Isn't the flight from China to Alaska about 10-11 hours? Those iPads should be landing in the next couple of hours.

That would give me hope that the subsequent flight from Alaska to Tennessee could leave before COB today.

Has to clear customs, so I doubt it.

I think mine is on that flight as well, my delivery is estimated for Thursday. So my guess on schedule is:

Arrive in Alaska today.
Arrive in hub in Memphis tomorrow.
Arrive at my closest fed ex facility on Wednesday
Out for delivery to me Thursday morning.


I'd love for it to get sped up a day though! I won't get home from work until 8pm or later on Thursday. No worries with getting the package as all our packages get signed for and held by the concierge in the front desk of my condo building. Just that I won't have much time/energy to mess around with it until Friday if it comes on Thursday.

But I figure it will be Thursday. I seldom have packages arrive ahead of the original estimated delivery date. But who knows, my smart cover was just delivered and it was originally scheduled for tomorrow by UPS--and that's the first one I've gotten early in a long while.

Curious, but has anyone had a white device ship at all yet? Not seeing many confirmations here. Really hoping this isn't the white iPhone all over again.
