Oh Ya.. I remember with the iPad 1.. One of mine showing in Alaska still while the other was out for delivery.. or something like that

I ordered my 64gb Wifi/3G AT&T iPad 2 at 3:57am Eastern time on the 11th...and I think it's absolutely ridiculous that it hasn't shipped yet.
Why is Apple replenishing retail stores when online orders haven't been fulfilled?
A buddy of mine ordered his iPhone 4 from Apple.com back in June and got it a day before the official release date...while I was foolishly standing in line at AT&T. When did Apple shift their priorities away from online orders??

My tracking page through Yahoo says 'Held at Sort Facility' while the one through FedEx says 'In Transit,' both in Alaska. What does that mean?
It says the 17th of March in the fedex system but 16th in the Apple System. I think I am going to have to go to the doc for some anxiety meds
I wonder if it has to do with them not being able to manufacture enough of a supply to ship out early like the iphone 4. Last year they announced the ipad a month before they actually went on sale.. this time it was just over a week.

Mine says the same thing. Im going to wait until the flight for memphis takes off in 15 mins and if it doesnt change before that im going to call fed ex and ask them what it means.

Haha! I was freaking out cause Im not going to be home but someone showed me that you can select to have Fed-ex hold the package at a location of your choice!
DITTO to your last sentence! My order time is 2:44 your time and my status is still not yet shipped!This is only my 2nd Apple product. The first was equally frustrating and no flames please, I don't believe in the love it or leave it philosophy!

I'm a bit anxious too, I stood in line for hours wasn't able to buy an ipad 64gb ATT because they sold out 20-30 in front of me.
For a second though, Think what apple accomplished. They announced a product on Mar 2. and in one week they were able to ship it...
How long has RIm been promising the playbook? It's vaporware already! Tab 2 vaporware!
Anyway... I ordered my at 2:51 CST and it's still pending!
