Anyone 16GB White ATT any status update??
How in the world did i pick the last iPad to get manufactured? Oh wait.. I let my kids pick it.
I can see them in the warehouse now doing a crappy job as they try to quickly piece my device together.
I'm gonna have a heart attack if there are 16GB White ATT available at the stores tomorrow.

My understanding is that international shipping release means it cleared customs and is waiting on a flight. That's what mine says. Somebody was asking about the yahoo tracker. There it says released for delivery. I like that one better. In my shipping experience (big deal) fedex can fail to scan or update an individual package when it leaves a facility and it won't show up again till after it lands and is unloaded. So status updates are often very sporadic. And I'll say it again. I recently (christmas) had an iPod delivered before Apple ever acknowledged it had shipped.

Most likely waiting on a plane. I wonder why they didnt put you on the plane that jsut left for memphis.

In fedex my status says in transit and on yahoo its released for delivery. So I figure its on the plane now.
I found an interesting bit of information on the Fedex website. They have the Fedex Ground maps for delivery dates (estimated of course) and since we were all kind of held hostage on the shipping options looks like next week for sure :-(
Mines going to Greenville SC, 8hour journey according to Google (I live in UK, so no idea). If my ipad does land in memphis at 12:30am on the 15th, it will be about an hour at the airport, and then in the best circumstances it will make the trip to Greenville in one 9hour trip (very unlikely i know). So hypothetically if it arrived at the FedEx hub for the greenville area at 9am on the 9th, do they put it out for delivery ?
In the UK they only put things out for delivery which arrive before 4am, pretty lame.

Seems like a lot of peoples who's iPad arrived in Anchorage today have missed this flight, or FedEx didn't scan them all.
Mine was released for delivery at 1pm.. i don't know how it still missed the 4pm flight

So does this mean it would take 15 days to get here? Making March 25th the date? I'm in NJ and on fedex.com its says it should be here the 17th and apple says the 18th..

I ordered a Black 64GB wifi/3G AT&T iPad 2 at 4:37 EST last Friday morning and it has done NOTHING. Not even packed for shipping.
So frustrating! It's going to be at least another week before it gets here!!

If you go to your apple order status, and click on print invoice, it tells you your iPad serial number. Just another entertaining spec

prepared to ship = not shipped = no invoice = no mac # = no hope .. I lost my hope. I had hope when it went to prepared to ship about 1.5 hours ago but that instantly faded.
