Mine's on the truck for delivery! I'm surprised how quickly it came. Didn't expect it until tomorrow at the earliest (I'm in Cincinnati).

Ordered a black 32GB wifi only at 3:09a CST on 3/11. Received email last night at 7p that it was shipped! It had left the building Shezen China (msp). And now its in Hong Kong. Estimated Arrival March 18th!. That's 5 business days! (We hope) will update when it comes.

I have a pre signed document hanging on my front door. Should be home by 2 or so, which is about when they typically come. For whatever reason, my Smart Cover got held up somewhere and didn't get put on a truck for delivery this morning (or so it seems). Funny thing is it's estimated arrival was the 15 compared to the iPad 2's ETA of the 17.

Receive "prepared for shipment", 3/14/2011, 630 pm PDT
No shipping confirmation yet. I, too, waited in line during the opening day and ended up empty handed. Since I wanted this particular iPad, I decided to order online and was prepared to wait the month or so for delivery. I was quite surprised it went to prepared for shipment. I was skeptical at first, until the credit card charge appeared on my account.
I'm still holding out though, until I get the email confirmation that the iPad has been shipped. Like someone said on this forum, perhaps Apple is very conservative on the ship dates and most orders will go much sooner than expected.
I ordered mine @ 12:54 AM on Day 1, still not shipped.
I guess that crushes my hopes for the exact spec device, 5-7 day to be delivered earlier than promised.
Seems like the 64GB ones ran out the fastest. I'm one of the unfortunates that ordered a 64GB Black WiFi model BEFORE 1 AM PST and still isn't even having it delivered. And I've got a flight to catch on Saturday, so the only way I can possibly have one before then is to get lucky and catch one at an Apple Store on my lunch break.

If this is the way Jobs' #2 is going to run the company, it's gonna crash after Jobs is gone. This ***** didn't happen when Jobs launched a product. This ***** didn't happen with the first ipad.
Clearly sucks when people who ordered LATER in the day are already freakin' getting theirs DELIVERED when many of us that were up at the butt-crack of dawn at the hour of launch have been shafted by Apple.

My brother and I ordered the same color/model within minutes of each other. We both live in the northern VA area. Our iPads were on the same flight from HK to Anchorage and both cleared customs. His iPad is now on a vehicle for delivery while mine says "In Transit" from Anchorage and no status updates since 6pm yesterday. Frustrating!
